I haven't been able to read all the posts so my opinion may be in the minority.
I absolutely do not blame the Prosecutors in this case. I do wholeheartedly blame the clueless jurors who were determined to overburden the state and did. That is why this case wasn't won, and Caylee was denied justice. IMO
The state was not required by law to show a video of how it happened, when it happened, what happened when Caylee was being murdered or where it happened or even why it happened. Yet that is the nonsensical burden these 12 people put on the state to prove. They would have only convicted if someone shoved a video in front of them showing everything from beginning to end.
The state only has
three legal requirements.
1. The victim was Caylee Anthony (check)
2. The victim's death was due to a homicide (check)
3. The murderer of Caylee was CA beyond a 'reasonable doubt.' (check)
No where in the law does it say the state must show the jury why, how, when, where, or even what happened. They don't even have the legal burden to prove how Caylee was murdered.
Jurors are told to pull from their own personal life experiences and knowledge. Imo, not ONE of them has ever known of one child who 'accidentally' died and was discarded in a swamp like trash where the parent never reported them missing. So where did they come up with this ridiculous belief? Because they bought the nonsensical totally unsupported BS claims put out by the town barker because it was as unrealistic as a CSI show or soap opera they could watch in an hour. Now if they had used their brain to link all of the overwhelming circumstantial evidence together they would have come to the determination that only parents who murder their children do exactly what CA did.
Murdering parents are THE ONES who discard the child's body they have murdered and go on pretending like nothing has happened and lie and cover up. Just like CA did. Yet, these vile 12 didn't have the ability to link 2 and 2 together much less be able to link CE facts together. They evidently believed it is so normal for a little child's body to be found in a swamp with duct tape wrapped around their hair/skull.
They couldn't figure out simple evidence that was so obvious even to the most unobservant.
I am glad these 12 have gone silent, and I hope I never see any of them ever again. This case wasn't that hard. The evidence was there, and they refused to see it. God forbid if any of these 12 are on a missing body case in the future since they overburdened the state even when they did have the murdered remains of little Caylee. I found all of them disgusting, and still do.
IMO
