I was wondering the same thing about Longbeard. I don't know enough about law to know what he'd be privy to before trial, but none of that was in the media or we'd have known about it.

It all depends on what his lawyer told him about the evidence against him. The defense has to get all the evidence before the trial, but in what form they got it in is the question. I think a lot of times they will just hand the defense loads of data and the defense will have to sort through it and analyze it themselves to find out what it actually means. So it's very possible that the defense did not know about Longbeards, but they would have had to have had the data that allowed the prosecution to make the conclusions that that was where her phone was. They would need to hire their own experts to analyze the data, and I don't know if that was done.

I wonder if he contracted work at Longbeard.

I still don't understand why the State brought up the 4:37 text message from SM's phone, but didn't say what it said. That was just weird.

I didn't watch the proceedings, but based on what I've read here today it wasn't texts but IMs, and they were transcribed here:

437.54 Can you please bring me orange juice with popsicles? 4:38.00 TY 4:38.30 yes ma'am

Interesting!

I don't know. But something sure seemed to 'not set right with him', IMO. Since I believe he is a narcissist, it was most likely something negative that had to do with him, him, him, or made him look bad. A few of those messages had been published in MSM so he had to know about them but maybe he didn't expect them to be recovered or know the extent that would be aired to the whole world. I used to be married to a narcissist and I recognize the look on SM's face today. He looked like he wanted to go punch something or squeeze a stress ball or something. TM is a narcissist too though IMO. My opinion: SM felt like a fool today because something in testimony outed him in some way.

What are your thoughts New2MB? If you don't mind? :D

I forgot some of that was revealed earlier (can't keep track of what is MSM and what is not allowed). He definitely looked upset, I just can't figure out what was so upsetting because I would figure the defense already knows most of what is going to be presented as evidence. That's why I'm wondering if he found out something today that he didn't know about or that he didn't know the State knew about!

The last three texts were: I did not see the other number.

4:37.54 Can you please bring me some orange juice with the popsicles?

4:38.08 TY

4:38.30 Yes ma'am
All three had been deleted I ran it back and froze it.
Yes, that was very strange...State rested and KT started questions.

On second thought, they may not had to hire them because the prosecution's expert witnesses would have made reports and those may have to have been submitted as well.

I wonder when TM is going to realize that her husband's attorney's job is to get him off and he'll do whatever he can, including throwing her to the wolves. I think she thinks that they are a team. KT has made it very obvious that he doesn't want any part of Tammy Moorer and how distasteful he finds her. TM better be very worried, imo.

I was thinking maybe he told her from the payphone that he was working there that night and she showed up by surprise to talk to him, and found he was not there.

Oooohhhh....great theory!!! Because I bet that's how they met up many times before.

I was wondering the same thing... could he have said the payphone number was the restaurant's line, which explains why she would keep calling it. But he didn't expect her to actually show up there.

So that basically shows he wasn't home at 4:38 am? Guess Polly once again lied.

I don't think that proves that, to be honest. Until you said this, I thought they were just in separate rooms in the same house, or one was in the house and the other was in the garage (say, dismembering a body).

If nothing else, I would be suspicious if I saw two married adults were up all night on the phone or messaging. Especially those with children and jobs. I'd like to know if this was normal for them, or isolated to this night.

I'm confused about the popsicle and orange juice texts. Who said that to whom, and when? Thanks.

Yeah, I think this lends more to the idea that he was home. I hate to admit it because it makes me sound super lazy, but sometimes if I'm in my room and my husband is in the living room (closer to the kitchen) I'll text him and ask him to bring me something. And vice versa.

What would one need popsicles and orange juice at 4:30 a.m., though? That's not only odd in itself, but an odd combination.

I hate to say it, really hate to, but that too makes it look like a more nonchalant kind of evening/morning. Popsicles, orange juice, and murder all within an hour? Idk, really odd!

Guess it also depends on who had the phone then too. But why delete it?

I think he did find out something that he didn't supect the state would know about. The state has presented a good case so far, IMO. Judge Dennis was stern with KT today. Perhaps SM is imploding.

Justice for Heather!
