I hope the pro wraps it up in a clear package or I see reasonable doubt.... Sadly

All the movement that morning might not bode well for the state. Heather was out alone in the wee hours of the morning. This could raise reasonable doubt with some of the Jurors.

This is a bad example. It could have been another animal doing it to the dog food... Defense will hop on that one

I for one believe that there are only so many coincidences in life. When they start piling up, they are no longer coincidences, but facts. I feel that if I was on the jury, and only heard these facts, I go with guilty.

NL loves that easel, doesn't she.

Has anyone else noticed no one stands when the Jury enters or leaves the courtroom.

yep! apparently judge is the only one who deserves respect in the south. I am from AL so it is my perogative to tell it like it is.

Livesay said this case has better evidence than an eyewitness, since, as she said, an eyewitness could be biased or not remember everything perfectly.

The state argues to the jury that Elvis, "is a woman that has been taken."

Ugh, hits you when she mentions never been married, never had children. Such a shame.

"This is a woman who was taken", repeated and repeated. Making a point. Prosecutor is easy to listen to....even with that "south mouth"....:blushing:

Nothing is more beautiful than a woman speaking with a southern dialect.

Hi Everyone,

Please forgive the off topic post but I need to let you know something.

We know there are audio ads playing automatically without you going near the ad.

Our tech guy Dave is on it and is working to make sure this stops ASAP.

Thank you for your patience.

According to the state's closing argument, the snag in this case was the reported pregnancy that has been talked about throughout the trial.

me too. Is she originally from SC? That comes out as dat
I don't know for sure, but that's how people from Conway, Aynor, and Loris talk. At least most of the ones I know, anyway.

Livesay talking about the pregnancy test Moorer purchased at a local Wal-Mart at 1:19 a.m., on Dec. 18, and at 1:35 a.m., he is at the pay phone calling Heather Elvis.

That one sentence says a lot.
