Police confirmed that both Ronald and Misty have taken polygraph tests and they are "satisfied" with the results.

Maybe "satisfied" is a polite way of saying: "yes, we know she/he is lying, and our results satisfied that supposition"; "yes, we are satisfied he/she told the truth, and the results verified that" in a very ambiguous way, so as not to tip off anyone to draw conclusions.
In reference to the pink shirt: didn't the Granny bring over some clothes that night? What *if* Haleigh was actually wearing the HM shirt, but took it off to try on one of her "new shirts" that Granny brought over, and threw it in the pile of dirty clothes? You know how little kids want to wear their new clothes right away? Just a thought...
I know there was some earlier discussion about whether Ron married Misty because it would prevent her from testifying against him if something he did resulted in his child's death, I found this somewhere (sorry if it's been posted before):
Florida statute 90.504 Husband-wife privilege.--
(1) A spouse has a privilege during and after the marital relationship to refuse to disclose, and to prevent another from disclosing, communications which were intended to be made in confidence between the spouses while they were husband and wife.
(2) The privilege may be claimed by either spouse or by the guardian or conservator of a spouse. The authority of a spouse, or guardian or conservator of a spouse, to claim the privilege is presumed in the absence of contrary evidence.
(3) THERE IS NO PRIVILEGE under this section:
(a) In a proceeding brought by or on behalf of one spouse against the other spouse.
(b) In a criminal proceeding in WHICH ONE SPOUSE IS CHARGED WITH A CRIME COMMITTED AT ANY TIME AGAINST the person or property of the other spouse, or the person or property of A CHILD OF EITHER.
(c) In a criminal proceeding in which the communication is offered in evidence by a defendant-spouse who is one of the spouses between whom the communication was made.
If Ron or Misty are indicatedin relation to this abduction/crime, spousal privilege will not prevail, per (b). :twocents:
