I think misty feels she is ABOVE the law! Hence her actions and behaviors!
 
"It's not against the law to flick somebody off," Misty said.

She talked to Kealing at Orlando International Airport. Ronald Cummings is seeking a divorce, although the couple married in March, a month after Haleigh disappeared . "It's just a divorce," she said. "I don't want a divorce, but it's what he wants. Whatever. I'm not going to fight him."

Where was she headed? To an appearance on a national TV show, although she wouldn't say which one, Kealing said. (She will be on CBS' "Early Show.")

Unapologetic MCC, makes me feel she did flip the other driver off. Immaturity will always show...

So, it's RC who wants this divorce. I wonder what reason Ronald has for wanting to part ways with MCC. It was RC who wanted to keep his enemies closer, so what changed? How will he keep tabs on her?
 
I wonder if Misty isn't beginning to sort of enjoy this notiriety a little bit. Reporters asking her questions in the airport, having her pictures on t.v. every day, getting talked about on every message board on the net. She's becoming very well known. It has to affect her a little bit.
I didn't wake up in time to see the Early show.. was there anything earth-shattering in her interview?

She didn't have to talk to that reporter at the airport but she did. She didn't have to go to the Early Show but she did.

I just watched a video of the interview: same ol' same ol'. Why on earth do they fly a simpleton like her to NYC for a little nothing, two-minute "interview" in which absolutely nothing new is revealed! When the interviewer asked her if she was "resigned" to the divorce, I halfway expected Misty to not even know what "resigned" means. MC did say that she expected to undergo hypnosis rather than the polygraph but that she was polygraphed instead. So is she saying she was conned or misinformed? And she said that someone told her that she could have flunked it because she believed that she was responsible for Haleigh's disappearance even if it wasn't her fault. She and Ron must have been the most incommunicative married couple on the planet. She says that Ron didn't talk much to her about her inconsistencies--yeah, right!

Tim's audio,he's had Donna try to work with Misty to get her to confess what she knows.She took her to church and she had her talk to a pastor,hoping she'd confide in what happened.He says she is afraid to go to jail and afraid that the drug people involved will harm her.Donna is still with TES and did things with Misty as a mother she never had,so she could just confess what happened.Maybe if Misty tells what she knows and is put in protective custody we could find out what happened to HaLeigh.

I hope she talks to them a lot more.. I don't care they pay for room etc. if it will help in anyway to finding Haleigh then I say they should go for it. She really hasn't talked much. Always looking at rc for the ok.. She needs to be let talk and talk.. dig her self deeper and deeper..
 
Flying her to NY and putting her up in a hotel room is not going to help find Haleigh, I'm sorry to say. I can think of a few other ways that could be used to get her to talk, but none of them are legal. But no... she's having the time of her life, enjoying the celebrity status... what makes anybody think she is going to confess on a morning talk show? Not going to happen.
 
I don't believe this was road rage. I believe two women, courtney and donna were engaged in trying to flex muscles out there on the highway, and courtney blew things way out of proportion, as we have now learned, no weapons, drugs or eye witness accounts to back up this 90 mile per hour 30 minute ordeal. Someone would have to have seen this occur. If I called police everytime someone cut me off, or made me mad when I'm driving, half my county would be locked up. I just get over it and choose not to be offended.

Ballinger has been identified on a Facebook page as being as friend, or acquaintance, of "Steph," a man who runs a chat site devoted to HaLeigh Cummings and her disappearance."

What connection exactly did the alleged victim, Courtney, have with this man who runs a blog devoted to Haleigh? Wasn't Steph promising more interviews with Misty?
This is very shady and casts a new light onto this whole road rage incident!

I've been wondering about eyewitness accounts too. It would help this lady's case if someone else came forward and gave a report. It concerns me that in addition to this woman, others on the highway were endangered by this foolish game.

I think that there is a difference between an impatient, hotheaded driver (who I just ignore), and someone who refuses to give up and keeps following, taunting, and gesturing you. If that happened, then Courtney(?) did the right thing by calling police. I would do the same. I also think it was highly stupid of MC to call the woman "crazy" in the airport interview. I think the woman felt genuinely threatened and did what all of us would do.

I believed Courtney's story at first, and Misty even admitted to flipping her off; however why is Steph on her friends list? Then maybe Courtney would know who Misty is? Although it doesn't seem like she recognized her..

Why did the downstairs deem it dubious?

I'm not on FB so I haven't checked any of this for myself but the gist of it was SW has a friend who has a picture of her friend who maybe looks a bit like CB but to my understanding it was not confirmed that SW knows the friend's friend or that it is in fact CB.

I don't really know how FB works, but is it possible to determine how long Steph has been her friend? Is it possible he looked her up, and signed up as a friend, in order to make contact with her regarding this incident? He is, after all, supposed to be covering Misty... :waitasec:

Thank you, so it's not been confirmed that Courtney is in fact friends with Steph, just someone who appears to look like her. That article threw me for a loop!

I'm not sure about FB, either, it would be great though if we could confirm for a fact whether or not it was Courtney..
