All news articles about Josh’s disappearance indicate he went missing “around midnight” on Saturday, November 9th, 2002. *Before this time, he was seen by one of his roommates at 8:30pm leaving Josh’s room to smoke cigars.

Per findjoshua.com: *the week of Dec 2, 2002, “the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department had contacted and questioned eight of the nine students present at the party Josh attended the night he disappeared, but stated that they were unable to contact the remaining student.” *(Why were they interviewed almost a month after the disappearance? *Who was the student that wasn’t interviewed?)

What if those cigars were "blunts"? Let's forget about the monks and the water once, could there be a tie to a rogue drug dealer? Say a drug dealer who maybe didn't get paid.

So in this picture I drew a line that josh probably should have took back to his apartment (Blue), and the danger spot I see (Red). Crossing a parking lot like that at night alone is dangerous. It gives a perpetrator a chance to lure someone in. Josh being a person who wanted to be a Senator would be the type to help anyone.

In this picture is the storm drain I've been talking about. I had been out to Saint Johns twice before and this drain was dry of any water those times. When it's dry it looks like a tunnel, it's big enough for a grown adult to crawl into imo. Imo this drain should have bars on it. When I was a kid maybe about 12 or 13, I had a rare encounter with a wild black cougar in a pasture, this cougar jumped towards me, landed just in front of me and then darted into a drainage pipe about 50 yards away. I was thinking, what if a cougar was in that drain and Joshua had left the sidewalk to go to the bathroom there and a cougar comes out of the drain attacks him and pulls him inside the tunnel? What if Josh thought he could crawl through the tunnel to reach the basement of his apartment building? I just want to know that they searched this at least. There is no doubt that it seems like Josh is in a hole in the wall.

Precisely. He had conflicts of interest with the university that I believe hindered him from being able or willing to look for possible links. And isn't it something -- Sanner is the king of speculation because he speculated for years that Rassier took Jacob. Unprofessional and ineffectual.

Lots of people speculated. One person even said she had storage units filked with evidence re other guys and some people bought into it!

I don't know what motivates people to be deceitful about what information they may or may not possess. I do know that it is frustrating when there is evidence that points in one direction and LE deliberately chooses to go in another.

In conclusion, all alternative explanations having been exhausted, it now seems plausible that the most likely explanation for Guimond’s disappearance is indeed an abduction. Could it be more than a coincidence that another young male, Jacob Wetterling, was abducted just a few miles away on October 22, 1989 in St. Joseph, 13 years before Guimond went missing, and that no trace of either Wetterling or Guimond has ever been found?

Wondering if there are any other human remains to be found in the area where Jacob ws finally located?

[h=1]Jacob Wetterling’s Remains Found 27 Years After Disappearance[/h]

That's a very good question. And I wonder if the powers that be thought to check that out -- I hope?

"I hope?"

Exactly. What are we doing here? is anybody of the right authority even listening? do they want to listen? does somebody still want to work this case? For christs sake, did they even ask Heinrich about Josh?

13 years later and within heinrichs circle of destruction is another young man gone without a trace. There is no gravel this time. Heinrich knows the area, he's driven through there before, you can count on it. He's a night stalker, guess what he doesn't have neighborhood kids out running around small towns anymore thanks to Jacob. So one night he's driving though the St. Johns area and look at all that activity, moving young men walking from here to there. Was Heinrich sitting in the parking lot ready? yeah it's possible.

The Wetterling case has been solved and he was found last fall.

Yes, the world is aware of that. I think you're speaking about the quote I posted, a professional had written it up during the investigation of Wetterling. Could the same guy who took Jacob also be responsible for Joshua?

Wetterling now found, Guimond still missing.

Just noticed a new documentary unrelated to Joshua's disappearance, but perhaps it might offer some helpful insights into possible church coverups. fwiw

[h=1]‘The Keepers’: Murdered nun documentary poised to be the next ‘Making a Murderer’[/h]
The seven-part series looks closely at the case of 26-year-old Baltimore, Md., nun and teacher Sister Cathy Cesnik, who was reported missing in 1969. Several months after she disappeared, her body was found, and her murder has never been solved.

Local folks featured in the trailer seem to imply that there’s a larger coverup going on — all the way up to the top levels of the Catholic Church, and powers-that-be are burying any evidence that could help solve the long-unsolved crime.

“The priests were the authority,” one interviewee alleges. “Whatever they told you to do, you did.”
White analyzes potential “clergy abuse, repressed memories and government and religious institutions,” who, “at best, dropped the ball over the last 45 years – and, at worst, covered it up.”

Posted this on Sister Cathy's thread too.
Apparently, it is believed that Sister Cathy, may have been killed because she was going to reveal the alleged abuse.

thanks DOTR. here is another quote from your link:

“This goes bigger and deeper than we could imagine — the story is not the nun’s killing, the story is the coverup of the nun’s story.”

Unfortunately the county government is privy to the abbey and would never want to believe this happened to Josh. It's not worth it, they would destroy the school and all funding they get from it.

The county said they extensively looked into foul play but we have no idea what they exactly did. If they didn't check into and interview the overwatching monks of Josh's dorm and the dorm of the party that night then they have done nothing, but we don't know.

Resources for the Joshua Guimond case
Josh Guimond, a Minnesota St. John’s University student was reported missing Nov. 10, 2002. He was last seen leaving a party on campus to walk home to his campus apartment in Collegeville. Monks accused of sexual assault on minors were the acting RA's at both the dorm Josh was at for the party and at his dorm.
Josh was working on a paper to expose the sexual abuse scandal by clergy at the university her was attending. His computer was wiped of documents the night he went missing.
Elements: Still missing - cover-ups involving church sex scandals (St. John's Abbey is home to more known sex-offenders than anywhere else in the nation) and Stearns sheriff's office.

WEBSITE: If anyone wants to join me in this rabbit hole, I can almost guarantee you'll be pulled in once you start looking into it. My theory: I believe Father Wollmering, who later died under suspicious circumstances, was involved in Joshua's disappearance.

Proper investigation and revealing of information on LE's behalf has failed us. It doesn't look positive unless we get a new sheriff who cares.
