That's OK, I thought you wrote 3 feet anyway. So it would be unlikely that LE would miss seeing her if she was in a bag and it is a WHITE garbage bag too. That is very interesting info and thanks for joining the discussion here for Breeann.

Regarding the 'Mexican female' cop/police/LE Speak, I must say that I hope there is an equivalent for 'Dr. Speak.' I was at the Dermatologist's for a minor matter when he had to leave the room for a minute. Naturally, I peeked at his chart, and at the top he had written 'Well-nourished white middle-aged female.' I paused to reflect: what does this have to do with my skin tabs ?!! I do hope this was required 'Dr. Speak' rather than just his selective observations of me.

Actually skin tags and dermatology matters have a lot to do with nationality. Some nationalities are more predisposed to skin cancer, IMO. HTH

Think about how his pool excuse is similar to the lie that JB told to Casey's jury...and it worked. Unless this guy doesn't own a TV, he probably took note of that little triumph of evil over justice, just in case he ever needed to get himself out of a jam.

IMO, if you are a pervert, you probably spend a significant amount of time fantacizing about a situation which, in the mind of a pervert, would lead to whatever evil act tickles your fancy. Problem is, you don't want to go to prison, so you wait for an opportunity to present itself. Think up ways to explain the child's presence at your home if someone sees her there...and there it is on Court TV. You didn't kidnap her, she came to see the pool.

Just another version of "blame the victim". She was somewhere she didn't belong. If she hadn't come in to his back yard, he wouldn't have killed her.

It's a stupid excuse, but some people will say anything to avoid telling the truth.

I've been out this morning and trying to catch up. I may be missing some information (if so, please fill me in!), but if he did not sexually molest her, then my guess is this may be a hate crime and maybe racially motivated (e.g., "How dare a Hispanic little girl get in my swimming pool!").

Thoughts? Again, this is JMHO and something that crossed my mind. I can't imagine any other motive for killing a child "just because", if there is no sexual molestation. Hope this makes sense.

This does seem to be the motive that is emerging -- I still don't get it. A three year-old child is a baby (I have one). How can a man with kids fly into a rage at a baby that is both fierce enough and prolonged enough to drive him to suffocate her for what "seemed like hours?"

Who ascribes threatening otherness to a three year-old? A gang of teens, maybe, but three? Why not just shoo her away?

I think it must have been sexually-motivated -- the method of killing, throwing the body in the river (making PM analysis more difficult), etc. Seems like the worst imaginable reason, and therefore the one worth erasing with a cover story.

Well, reguardless, this A hole needs to rot in he77. I'm glad BR seemed to be very well taken care of and very loved in her much too short life. It is sad that kids can't even be safe so close to home, on a dead end street no less. I just hope they find her soon so they may have some evidence to work with.

These ditches converge at Big lake,, but at this time of year most of the water is directed to the large ditch just to the west of the NWR.

I remember this case out of Mpls/St. Paul. MN: John Jolley. He worked in a store, and when a little girl went to go to the restroom, which apparently was in the basement where he was unloading boxes or something, he decided, with no priors, to abduct her, put her into a box and take her home to sexually molest her and murder her. I think he said he was bored and wanted to know what it was like.

This article says Morgan grabbed Breeann out front while she was riding her bike as her brother went inside for a drink. No mention of the pool ladder.

The article also says he is the father of three. I wonder if his children live at home still or not.

Morgan apparently grabbed Breeann as she was out riding her training-wheel bike in front of her home. She was riding with her older brother when he went inside to get a drink. By the time he returned, she was gone.

Morgan's wife told neighbors that the FBI was taking computers and other evidence from their home. He's described as a small man, about 5-foot-6 and weighing 130 pounds. He's lived in the neighborhood for a decade and works at a steel plant in nearby Arkansas.

I haven't read through all the posts so I'm sorry if this has already been suggested. Do you think it was possible that she got to his house by going through all the back yards? From that aerial map, it looks like this would be possible. Either way, he is a sick sick man for doing this to that baby. And like most everyone else, I think his story is riddled with holes and partial truths.

Edited to add: I see that someone upthread said something about her being in the front, so nevermind what I said about the back!
