LE did a tremendous job. Briefings twice a day and sometimes more. Issued an Amber Alert immediately regardless of AA protocol. 300 officers searching for baby Lisa.

I honestly don't understand the parents choice not to cooperate. If they have nothing to hide then it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

I don't think their choice was based on a network deal. I believe LE probably asked them to take a LDT and they refused.

Very sad. :(
up thread there are links, which state from a family member that LE told the mother she failed a LDT and there is a link also that one family member said they cannot talk because a network deal is in the making.

:seeya: Good Morning Everyone.

Praying this is the day they find baby Lisa! :praying:

Question: Have Polygraphs, (LDT) been given to the parents?

Here and in most high profile cases, that is standard, anyone know if parents have gotten this out of the way so LE can eliminate them from their pool of POI?

Sorry, I didn't see the post up thread on polys, and I read them all....

Time for new glasses

Was this a MSN link or where was this still can't find it....

I wish..i really wish..that LE would stop telling parents they failed a lie detector when they didn't. That has happened more than once, they use it as an interrogation tool

Only problem is that if you are innocent, you will either just give up or end up not cooperating because clearly they are wrong or lied to you. Does that make sense? From the perspective of the one told they failed.

ETA post above is poly post

That explains everything to me. I would have stopped cooperating to, that is my personality..if I felt LE lied to me and was trying to pin it on me rather than look for the real perp.

But just after 9 pm Thursday, Jeremy Irwin's sister told media that the parents never stopped cooperating with authorities. She said the family thanked police for all their help and that the sole goal remained to bring Lisa home.

She also revealed that police told Bradley she had failed a lie detector test, but offered no evidence.

I didn't like this deal as soon as I heard the mother didn't put that baby in her crib to sleep until 10:30 P.M.

Then we hear Daddy came home at 4:00 A.M. from work.

I don't like it. At All.

Just My Opinion.....

That has been revised. Baby was put to bed at 7:30 pm in clean clothes. (Top and shorts) Mom checked on baby at 10:30 pm.

I really think LE must be keeping a lot stuff really close to their chests. Baby Lisa has been missing 4 days now and not a single break in her case!

I wonder if we'll hear about this 'new lead' today... I'm thinking it wasn't meant to be leaked to media just yet?

Hoping so much that today is the day Little Lisa comes home to her Mummy and Daddy! Who, despite all these new developments and twists and turns, I still believe they are innocent.

Also, can we please stop bashing them for leaving the mobiles on the kitchen counter?! At present they are completely innocent of any crime, and not taking the phones to bed with them is not a crime! Even it's not what YOU would do personally!
We all do things differently, and it doesn't make them negligent and it doesn't make it their fault that Lisa was taken!

I wish people would think for a minute before posting, about how they would feel if it was there kid that missing and they came on here and read these threads!

Good Morning All!
Again not to good since Lisa is still missing, still in danger

I had to just up & walk away from the'puter about 5 minutes after LE said the parents were not co-operating. I, literally stood w/ the intention of getting in my car to go to Lisa's house and start yelling at the parents. Now I'm in MI so it was'nt gonna happen but that was what my mind went to.

I never like to "look" at the videos of parents crying for their childs return. IMO as a parent you're gonna have emotion we just don't know what tape is playing in their heads to make them cry. Could it be seeing their child deceased cause they have knowledge of that? or are they replaying good times and know that won't happen again, hence the tears.

I envy those of you that encourage those like me, to not blame the parents. I must have some LE blood in me cause I trust no one. I think it has kept me safe.

I get so angry when "we" put so much time, effort and love into helping find these missing children and the parents are pleading for our help and they know all along where the child is buried or hidden. (not in this case..yet) 1st how dare someone hurt a beautiful child, given to them to raise and protect & 2nd how dare they use the public and public resources.!!
And I'll say #3 how dare a parent refuse to give a statement while your baby is out somewhere, cause you are getting paid to hold any info til the right program time! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!! Someone took you rchild, wait hold on, thats not as important as the paycheck.?? Even coming out w/ a teaser last night, not a full statement but just that the parents are co-operating, no matter what LE had just stated! Stay tuned this a.m for the whole scoop. (i doubt we get anything this am,other than, maybe some licensed photos) urggg

sorry to rant, my hand is curled & my neck is cricked from sitting here from morning til night. I am so sad for Lisa's brothers that are living this nightmare. Can you imagine how frightened they are???

I don't want to sound like I am picking on the mom, but if baby lisa was "sick" cold and runny nose, coughing and such, I wonder if she woke up at all in the 3 hour period between 7-7:30 and 10:30? In the evening hours is when sick babies are the sickest coughing more intense and temperatures rise. And I think the police have watched them doing their rounds with the talking heads and watching and looking at them as well. When the father says he first got home he notices the door unlocked. I know that I can stick the key in my lock and turn it to unlock it, mean while if the door is in the unlocked position I wouldn't know it was unlocked. Didi he check to see if it was unlocked first? He then said that the window open was weird. Really? Why? I have forgotten to close a window before, It's not weird. It's forgetful.

In response to a few posts I read earlier:

1. No posters hung up
The family is extremely distraught and has other obligations with 2 other children in the home. It is the public that comes together, and extended family, that normally hang up the posters. The family does not have an Organization representing them to guide them to what transpires. They've been going at it "on their own" while still in a state of shock.

2. Media spokesperson
Someone mentioned if it were them they would be talking to media directly themselves and not getting any spokesperson. Note that many prank callers and nasty people harass families of missing and especially in child abduction cases. A spokesperson and a media contact person is a necessity. Example: My org represents many families of missing and we do the media contacts. Why? So we can filter out who is legit and who is not legit. The family cannot handle that task when the phone is ringing off the hook..who knows who is on the other line? When media contacts us to get information on family for interviews we ALWAYS phone that reporter back to verify it is in fact a news outlet. We also filter out the news media that we know are reporting in ways that upset the family. (Example: Megan Waterman's case. We had to filter out at least 6 different media outlets that the family refused to work with as they used headlines as "missing hooker or prostitute." While "escorting" is nearly the same...the negative overtones was just too much for the family to see in print regarding their missing daughter and by having a media representative to work for the family...it helped to convey these important thoughts to the press directly to use discretion as Megan has a young daughter that will grow up and read all one day.

3. Lawyer
Any person whether innocent or guilty should always have a lawyer in any case that will one day make it to a courtroom. The law is complicated. Justice does not always prevail. Cases are ruled on the law. If one does not have a law background, one NEEDS a lawyer to guide them. Yes..guilty or innocent a lawyer is always a must!

4. Polygraph
Only used to "rule out" not "rule in" a suspect. Lightens the burden on PD if the person passes, however, PD and Polygraph experts know that lie detector tests are not court evidentiary. If one has lack of sleep, on medications (anxiety meds) and emotionally distraught a lie detector test pointing towards "lying" is not going to be worth the paper it is printed on. Liars can pass polygraphs and truth-speakers can fail.

5. Not cooperating with police could simply mean "I am exhausted, tired and NO I am not coming back down to the station. I am done. I've told you all I can tell you".....as we all know, whether Baby Lisa died from an accident or from an abduction...the mom is going to be extremely distraught either way. Stress is overwhelming so this statement to the police would not be uncommon for one who has not slept...and especially if one's child was abducted. Somewhere in all this there has to be sleep/rest for the human brain to function properly. This is why the statements made where the dad and mom's accounting conflicted had me concerned. Were they conflicting statements due to stress/tired or where they accidental slip ups in reporting what happened when dad came home? We won't know until the investigation continues. But either way...pulling out due to extreme stress and anxiety would be a natural if this were a true abduction and/or a cover up...so I am not surprised this happened.

I never take phones to bed? We have regular phone in bedroom...but cell phones are all over the house at night on charge. What I do find odd is that dad went to work at that kind of shift with no cell phone? He couldn't have had one with him because when mom told him to call 911 ...he said "Where are all the phones?"...just odd he didn't have his own in his pocket...unless of course they had a fourth phone that was his and always kept in his car and not carried into house. Perhaps he ran to his car and that is where he called 911?

It is also possible that they never lock doors or always keep them unlocked and just felt too "embarrassed" to tell police, perhaps out of guilt of not being cautious?
