So if his pjs or blanket weren't there, they've been disposed of somewhere else.I guess anywhere in the surrounding area they're probably burnt,so far we've not heard anything about a dumpster fire.

One of the reporters/producers said during the live feed (waiting on the presser?) something about clothes being found too... in a driveway/yard?
It's mentioned earlier in the thread but I'm also having computer issues, no way I can search.

Odd,so if they were, the person wasn't worried about DNA then.Sounds like the person was angry, just taking clothes off and throwing them down.

Now I keep coming back to the pajamas... for two hours after this story broke the only photo available was of the pajamas he was wearing and a blanket that was missing. All facebook posts from local news outlets didn't have a picture of baby Tyler, but kept focusing on the pajamas. I searched walmart, kmart, target, amazon... all the regular places to buy pj's for kiddos and cannot find those particular pj's. Perhaps they were a garage sale find, and not currently on sale. Not that this means anything, but what are the odds of having two identical sets of pajamas? I've had 5 kids and cannot even recall buying identical pj's. Not that it can't happen, I just find it a little odd. And what are the odd's of him disappearing in the pj's that you just happen to have an identical set of to give to LE on the morning that you accidentally overslept.

What happened to baby Tyler and who is responsible?!?! This case is so totally heart breaking.
I think the PJ's are homemade. I raised 5 kids...made a lot of them. They looked like good fleece.

I have 3 girls and just before my eldest was born I had found the sweetest little pair of pjs with had rosebuds on them. I bought several pairs in different sizes so they could grow with her. In fact all 3 of my girls eventually wound up wearing them

I really want to believe that this was a stranger abduction, but with Tyler being found so close to home... I don't know if that is going to be the case. I wonder if grandma had a boyfriend? Or if mom had a boyfriend? How open was that house to their friends? What kind of friends were welcome into the home? Could mom have snuck someone into the home? Or given someone access to the home without grandma knowing?

It is disturbing to hear that Tyler's clothes were not on him? IF this was a male abductor... my first concern is that it was sexually motivated. Even more heartbreaking to know that his clothes and blanket were found in another yard... if it is in fact true?

I really think this is going to be one of those open and shut cases. Everything happened so quickly and I believe LE knows exactly what they're dealing with. I just hope mom isn't involved!

I agree..i think LE will open and shut this case. I don't beleive mom was involved..at least not in dumping the body....I mean this poor baby was found naked and not covered in anything. Even Casey anthony wrapped her child in a blanket..(before throwing her in the woods)

I thought I read early, upthread, that his clothes and blanket were found in a nearby yard? I could be mistaken, but I'm quite sure I read that. not sure if it was confirmed though. the way my PC is acting up tonight on here, I'm not even sure I can locate it. Sorry.

Earlier I saw a picture on one of the news websites showing them - 3 items laying in grass.

RIP little one. :rose:

Rest In Peace, sweet little Tyler. :rose:

Thanks, Stella5 and belimom (and any others whose posts I haven't read) for updating me on what happened!

The only good news seems to be that Tyler was found so quickly. :(

Using your post as a jumping off point, she apparantly had a lot of friends, some with children. Knowing she went back to school to finish her education while raising a son speaks volumes of her character. I live in a "hood" where we have all walks of life, from a known drug house, to apt buildings that are home to elderly church ladies and crackheads. the younger set are seen running back and forth to the drug house constantly, not attending school.

Until I see some very strong evidence, my thoughts and prayers are with Tyler's mom and family.

I did not know she had gone back to school to finish her education. Before we judge her sleep in time, do we know if she was up late cramming? JMO

I won't judge her or her family either until more information is released. I do however question why Tyler was put to bed so late. After midnight is unusual for a little one year old unless he was sick but we haven't heard that he was.

Good morning! Just a quick update... KMOV & Fox are both reporting that an arrest has already been made. Formal Charges & Processing has not happened yet as they are awaiting the Prosecuting Attorney to file formal charges.

KMOV's reporter has said the only changes he has seen at police hq since last night were 3 detectives left, and Tyler's father & grandmother have left. Not sure what to read into that.

Off to get kids up, fed, dressed & off to school. RIP Little Tyler.

I guess we'll have to wait and see where this leads..........

Fox2 reporting the police have blocked off the street of the house and backed media up saying this is still an active investigation. No one has come back to the house and police are refusing to give media any identifying details of who they have arrested.

If GMA and the father have left and Shelby is still there... I just am not ready to go there. Please just tell me this was a horrible accident and that little Tyler did not suffer. JMO

It does, doesn't it?

Around 6 a.m., authoritiess returned to the area along River Des Peres Boulevard where the body of Tyler Dasher was found. Detectives walked the area with a woman wearing a jacket. It is not clear if the woman is a suspect.

News 4's Mark Schnyder has been reporting live from that location. He was live on the air this morning as a large group of detectives walked around the scene with the woman. The group was only there a short time before the woman was escorted back to a St. Louis County detective's car.

The St. Louis County crime scene van has also returned to the scene.

this article says no signs of forced entry and no way a 12 month old could unlock the doors

He was 18 months according to that link. An 18 month old certainly can be capable of climbing out of cribs and unlocking doors (not that I think that's what happened in this case, just saying that the police are mistaken if they think there is "no way" that an 18 month old could do that). We had to move my oldest into a regular bed by 14 months because she would not stay in the crib and I was scared that she was going to hurt herself climbing in and out.
