I noticed that...I think people ignore the charges when they don't want to face the reality...but LE does not charge homicide without evidence. (Also some seem to think that "homicide" means she might still be alive, vs. "murder"...?)

I just hope he will tell LE where she is, if indeed he killed her. It is too difficult, sometimes impossible, for families to believe their loved one is gone if they are never found.

I know some of the Hburg PD and Forrest County LE officers personally. They are good guys, and are intelligent, respectful men. It's taken all I've had not to FB message them and ask questions, but I do not want to meddle. I will know sooner or later, although waiting is hard. As a nurse, I understand what it means to keep information confidential.

I have faith that these guys know what they are doing.

The fact that they chose a cadaver dog first tells me they had a hunch.

Bless their hearts....they think she's coming home.

Yes, I think they are in total denial...regarding the crime of homicide he was charged with.

He was in contruction there in MS and then he changed his addy to LA after her disappearance. She may be somewhere on a construction site, or anywhere between MS and LA.

I think the cruelest thing one can do with the family right now (or any family in a crisis situation) is to encourage them to have false hope, once the finality of the situation is pretty well determined... it delays the inevitable realization to a time when they may not have the huge public outpouring of support that they have right now.

Men and women... that's a great department, and it's a good thing this didn't happen a county over. Won't name counties, but there are a couple there that, oh lord... KWIM?

He seemed like a emotional wreck--but in the wrong way--in the KNOE interview... I doubt he's quick-witted enough to keep up with investigators as they question him. Bet he'll cave on the location, if he hasn't already.

Here's another article that just mimics the others....but at least the story in gaining some media attention now.

LE arrested him, IMO, b/c something came up. Maybe they checked his time sheets at work, talked to co-workers. etc....

SBM

Yeah, maybe...but it's not uncommon for construction workers to move around a lot. They usually have one address, but will work in many states.
He was arrested in MS, so that leads me to believe he must have took the baby home to her family and came back.

I read the ex-boyfriends facebook page (the baby's daddy) I don't know what type of person he is...but he has a ton of pictures with his baby. Seems like he was involved in her life somewhat. They (Brittany and ex) honestly just sound like young parents. Classic case of young mother wanting young man to grow up and young man doesn't want to b/c he's still partying with his friends. Just my 2 cents anyway.

:please:

Oh please, tell where you put her!

:please:

Per one of her sisters' Facebook an hour ago - no body has been found. I don't know if hers is public for everyone else to read. But it sounds like her opinion of the fiancé has changed drastically.

I'm speculating that they either found her body or are going to recover it. The Bring Brittany home FB page admin posted about prayers right now- cant get in to details, etc, etc.
I hope it's good news but I'm jaded & am not expecting such. At least there has been an arrest.

Praying bf gives up the info if he is guilty or LE finds her so this poor family doesn't have to live with not knowing. There's way too much of that happening and that baby girl will need answers one day. Our world has become a scary place.

:please:

Just got a message from a friend. There was a body found on Gulf Haven Rd in Harrison County. I'm not familiar with that area, is it near where Brittany went missing from?

I don't think it is her, they said it was very decomposed.

Harrison County is Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Redneck Riviera/Casino Coast attracts a lot of vagrants and has a lot of crime. It's only about 45 minutes from the RV park to Harrison Co.

At approximately 6 p.m. Wednesday Benjamin Davis, the fiance of missing McLaurin mother Brittany Nicole Crenshaw arrived for a scheduled interview with investigators and was arrested, booked into the Forrest County Jail and charged with homicide.

Thursday investigators drove to Baton Rouge, Louisiana with an arrest warrant for a woman they say Davis had been in contact with recently.

Davis and Crenshaw had been together for several months and were living in a camper in McLaurin behind Hunt Brothers Pizza off of Highway 49 North while, Davis says, he worked a construction job at Turtle Creek Mall.
