so i wonder how they know she was on scene at 7:31 if the fire call didnt come in until 37 minutes later, witness drove by and saw her? (thought i remembered something like that)

ok he just said they know by using technology but will not specify.

I do hope that someone asks about the snitches comment that her mom made

<snipped>

Daugherty had said that Chambers, who had told several people she wanted to write a book about her life, had any important information written down or any letters from anyone else, they would have been in the trunk of the car.

Champion said visible damage to the trunk that can be seen in photos of the burned vehicle was caused by investigators accessing the trunk. The key mechanism was so badly burned that it took force to get into the trunk, he said.

What time did Jessica talk with her mom on Saturday evening? TIA

Using Google maps, if you look at intersection of Woodland and Hwy 6 in Batesville, do streetview and rotate the pic, there is Sonic sitting right on the corner....wonder if LF was working, and had phoned her earlier wanting to talk about something...

so he wouldnt say whether there was any physical or sexual assault indicated at autopsy, but he said that the autopsy didnt surprise them, they found exactly what they expected to find.

not sure how to take that but one way to take it would be that you would expect to find evidence of a sexual assault in a case with these circumstances.

have not heard anyone ask if there is any DNA evidence.

surprisingly few questions there, champion didnt cut it short tho he asked if there were any more questions and nobody had any...

Champion is saying they don't know where she was 6:30 to 7:30 but its during the time frame Lisa said they talked? that doesn't compute.

LF was supposedly fishing.... JMO

Maybe I just imagined this, but when someone asked the question about illegal activities at the residence, did anyone get the impression that Champion was saying yes in not so many words?

PANOLA COUNTY, Miss. — We are expecting an update in the Jessica Chambers case Tuesday afternoon.

District Attorney John Champion will talk with reporters at 3 p.m. about where the investigation stands.

WREG’s Caitlin Alexander will be at the news conference. Follow her @CAlexander_WREG

ETA: Sorry, Steve. Didn't see your post

So they've basically released the timeline of her night, including the detail that one hour is unaccounted for. It's on CAlexander's twitter.

New timeline means that Ali did not fool with the time. It was around 5:30 not 6:30 as we were led to believe originally. JMO

oh yeah...at some point...that was, I guess, her reason for being on Herron Rd that evening. But wonder if she worked til 6ish and went fishing later?? You know those fish bite best at night.

IIRC, her mom had said the time of when the call ended on her phone was 7:13, and that it sounded like Jessica was speaking from a very quiet place, no background noise, music, which would have been typical for her. Could Jessica have recently pulled over thus answered her mom's second call? They were said to have spoken for 20 minutes, so if it was in the same spot she may have been there from around 6:55 ish and on.
