My thoughts on guilt after visiting Caylee's memorial site.

Thank you. I'll probably go that way when its time for sentencing which i am planning on going too. We went to see Couey was sentenced and stopped by Jessica's grave site. I have to tell you, riding down Jessies road and seeing where Couey had lived was frightening. At the cementary I felt like I was invading the families privacy. I don't know why I felt like that but I did.

Thank you for these pictures.

I don't live in the US and I can't visit.

I'm so happy to know that people are respecting the site and leaving love and hugs and bears for Caylee there.

I burst in to tears seeing all these bears, sitting there, keeping watch and holding vigil for Caylee.

Thank you for going there. Thank you from my heart, for being there for Caylee and paying your respects.
I should really find someone on WS who lives in Florida who i can Send a bear to and have them take it there for me. It would mean a lot to me.

I'm so happy those lovies are there for Caylee. It just warms my heart.

Makes sense on one reason why Kc used a garbage bag and put her in a known garbage dump. I want to go by there someday as well.

My son was spooked by the place and didn't want to be there anymore so my husband walked back up to the roadside memorial, the remains site is heavily shaded and quiet, downright creepy if you ask me.

I was going to ask how your 7 year old handled it.

Thank you, Dragonlady, for taking us with you.

Those bunny ears broke me.

Thank you for posting. Your pics appear much clearer than any I've seen.

I wonder how ICA would react if she was brought there and made to sit amongst the garbage right in the thick of things where Caylee was found.

I have a child a bit older than Caylee was (born in the same year) and I just cannot imagine the evil inside this woman. In the beginning I wavered on if it could have been an accident, but you don't accidentally bag your child up like trash and dump her in the woods... THAT was NO accident.

Welcome to WS RobinBFaboulous.

Thank you very much for the pictures Dragonlady. They are much clearer than I have seen and gives me the best perspective I have seen on line regarding the remains site.

I'm not sure who suggested having the jury take a 'field trip' and view the remains site, but I agree. It would be a wonderful idea if possible and the DT didn't argue it until 2021.

Your photos and post are both very compelling.

Thank you for your effort to take us all to the final resting place for Caylee.

You, Dragonlady are a perfect example of why this site is not only important in studing this case, but how far members will extend themselves in the quest to bring justice to Caylee.

Like the others posting here, I too support the idea the jury should visit the area.

Thank you so much, Dragonlady! Very nice of you and your young son to pay tribute to this beautiful child.

It would be nice if some city or community organization could take on policing the area to keep it free of trash and debris.

Thanks so much for the pictures. Oh my word, that one with the kid's note to Caylee just about did me in.

This is such a sad case, and I agree, I think the jury should see that site for themselves. It would be very powerful for them to see.

Thanks for joining and posting! Hi!

Thank you for sharing your pictures. You are braver than I. I can't even go down that street anymore. It's too much for me.

Thank you so much for taking us all down to Caylees final resting place.
I too agree the jury should be driven down there in ICA's smelly car and take a short walk to the remains site.... !

I live about 10 miles away from the site.......I would be more than happy to take a bear to the site for you. I will also take pictures for you and send them to you, so you will know that Caylee will know the love that you are sending her.........

Caylee will always be our little angel that we must never forget!

Message me if you would like me to do that for you....

Thank you Dragonlady for the photos and your time taking & posting them. Like others mentioned, it is beyond creepy how much the second photo looks just like the icon ICA had in her Photobucket with a back-lit wooded area and LOVE in glowing white letters. When I saw your photo just now the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I got the chills. I've been looking for a link to that icon and will post if I can find it.

Welcome to WS RobinB!!!

Thank you for posting these pictures. I have visited little Caylee's memorial at this site on three different occasions and it is still chilling to even look at the pictures. You are so right abut the feeling one gets when they are standing in this area. It is so quiet and eerie....definitely a most inapprpriate resting place for such a little angel.

Yesterday I drove up to Orlando for Father's Day and stopped by Caylee's memorial and remains site so that my 7 year old son could leave a teddy bear for Caylee, while I was there I took a few pictures and I wanted to share them with my fellow WS's.

I also wanted to share some of my thoughts and feelings after having visited the site where little Caylee's remain were found, my initial reaction was "wow this is really close to the Anthony home" and even though I have heard this explained on the news several times it just did not sink in until I saw it for myself, this was a surreal experience for me to be standing under the canopy of trees in eerie silence surrounded by thick vegetation, trash and stuffed animals left for Caylee, I could not control my emotions and burst into tears, but not because I was sad at where I standing but rather I was enraged that ICA had dumped Caylee's remains so unceremoniously in this dark dank place littered with trash and crawling with bugs and wildlife. :furious: I just have no words to express how callous ICA's action were, GA would never left Caylee out like roadkill here.
For those of you on the fence as to whether this was an accidental death or not, let me just say that no innocent person would dump the body of their own flesh and blood in a nasty overgrown dump site unless they were the person responsible for the death and just wanted to get rid of the evidence quickly and without thought.
The site was littered with black garbage bags full god knows what, beer bottles, carpet remnants, used floor tiles etc... so it's plausible to understand at least to me how none one would have thought twice about picking up or opening garbage bags in this area off Suburban Drive, for this reason I think that RK must have been actively picking through a lot of trash looking for Caylee, when he found her remains that fateful day 12-11-08, this also makes the DT theory that RK moved Caylee's remains all the more ridiculous since this is not a place that a person could easily walk around in and scatter around for 1/4 acre little pieces of bones.

In the pictures you will see how the area slopes down from the road to the remains site, this area seems to have very poor drainage and would be flooded easily with some rain and when I was out there the ground was slightly damp underfoot even though we have drought conditions in Florida right now.
I took some pictures from the edge of the road to illustrate how far down it is and it's proximity to the street.
I did not take any pictures of the garbage bags lying around because it was to upsetting to me given how Caylee was found.

The area where the remains were found on Suburban ends at a dead end, on one side is the school and across is the remains site.

I also drove by the Anthony's home and wondered what really happened here?

The home is situated in a small middle class subdivision, the homes are well kept and this is not the type of background that you would expect to see a thief and killer coming from, this is quiet neighborhood filled with hardworking families.

I'm new here so hopefully I posted this in accordance with the sites rules, if not please correct it and thanks for letting me post my thoughts here.

Actually, your photos are really nice. I don't get the impression that it is a garbage dump. But I am sure it looks different up close and personal.
