She does in the video. Wonder how come Brad didn't go across the street to ask CM how to get a hold of Carrie. She admits she knows her...

Diana Duncan lives across the street. Maybe Diana doesn't know much about Carrie, but he could have tried I guess.

No, but very close. I feel like I do since my kids are always in there swimming, walking the trails or going to the dock. My kids have always gone to school with the kids from Lochmere so they have several friends in there.

A friend of mine and my daughter lives several homes down from him.

Do you actually see his car coming or going? Or is that what someone tells you?

I thought in some of the affadavits people mentioned
what they thought was going to happen when and where.

No affidavit from Carrie.

For those who followed the Michelle Young case - which happened not far from this one - was once LE interviewed a witness, they strongly "advised" such witness not to talk about the information related to the interview. Could have some of the same going on here I suspect.

Figure of speech :) CM lives in the neighborhood yes ? All these people claim to be Nancy's best friend, seems to me Brad could have asked any number of people right on his own block.

If an arrest was made last weekend, would we know about it today?

Just catching up and initially I felt the way JTF does, didn't see how the purse fit into the murder. But momof3 makes a valid point that it's odd NC would leave a LV purse worth $1200. in her vehicle, unless it was parked in the garage. Or the purse was a knock off. If it was, and she didn't have any credit/debit cards, only a little cash, then I can see her leaving it there. We don't have a lot of crime in Cary but breaking into vehicles is something that happens frequently. (I'm amazed at the number of people who still don't lock their cars.)

The town of Cary has an interesting link on their web site. It shows the crimes that have occurred in Cary for the past year. This is the link:
http://209.42.194.57/Cary/Default.aspx?tabid=36 Just click on crime data and then on the upper right hand corner put in an adddress and time length. If the link doesn't work just go to www.townofcary.org, to the maps section.

Bob & Bob

Noticed the picture you posted of Harris Teeter - is that the one Brad went to ?

If it is do you think those are surveillance cameras up on top of the awning over the entrance ?

Ms. Jilly

I occasionally buy flowers for my little one and believe me if I don't do the same for her instructor - I'm dead meat !

Just have to aggravate. Honestly I can understand that to a degree so I have no problem with it actually. But, I don't believe Nancy was the only one who spent money and ran up the charge cards. Brad himself said after he paid bills he gave nancy 80% of the money and he kept 20% - no way on 20% was he paying for the stuff to compete out his pocket money - seems obvious to me. I don't besmirch him for doing so, he worked, he deserved to bear some good from working, I just have a problem about him whinning about his deceased wife.

I just thought the bouquets of roses for all was a bit much. I used to buy flowers for my daughter too but never the instructors! I figured I was paying them enough as it was!
Anyways....I can sure see how their visa bill got up to $45,000 and that's with Brad playing a major role.

Just commenting based on personal experience. When I was a SAHM and after a while of doing without I would say to myself, "If he can spend money on such and such, then I can spend money on such and such." It can get to be quite a game. For example, when my husband travelled I would splurg and go out to eat (with kids) or buy expensive clothes. Can get to be very expensive for all.

Luckily, I recognized the situation and got a job to support myself if needed. Hasn't happened yet. :)

I can totally relate!:)

I witnessed the car in the driveway, car gone, car back again. I do not know who is driving it since I have not seen it actually being driven....assume BC. The SUV is not in the driveway at all during this time.

If there was an arrest over the weekend it would already be on all of the local channels and in print - if the person was arrested for Nancy's murder. Media outlets check the blotter everyday.

Roses - yeah a bit much. I've been known to pick dandelions for the little one  You know what instructor I'm talking about

SUV with the CPD, you think?

So he shouldn't have bought the roses?

Possible, also possible if it was a lease he could have turned it in. Doesn't need it, just going to keep costing him money. If LE has it, when they are done it is really gonna cost him some money.

:rotfl:....and I guess roses for the instructor!:yes::Banane35:

Imagine turning the vehicle in..."I'm turning it in because...." Would they charge him for turning it in early?

The flowers aren't a big deal. If he bought roses he wasn't the only one. It's fairly common locally for the parents to buy flowers to be presented to the child at the end of the recital, plus flowers for the child to give to her dance teacher. He just put that info in response to one of NC's friends stating that he did attend his daughter's recital. One local dance studio even started sending home an order form so that you can pre-order flowers for your child/teacher. It helps the school raise money and it keeps the parents from having to stop and buy the flowers themselves. And these "bouquets" are not huge expensive ones. Brad could have bought them at the Harris Teeter. They have a floral department. I don't know which dance studio the Cooper child attended but it's normal just to have one recital at the end of the year so it wasn't that much of an expense.
