Same thing with the zanax that's why I'm wondering if the chloroform is detectable from toxicology testing or is it like ghb? That's gone after 8 hours. Just wondering why chloroform? Is this something she saw in a movie that gave her the idea?

http://www.epa.gov/ttn/atw/hlthef/chlorofo.html

Chloroform can be detected in blood, urine, and body tissues. However, these methods are not very reliable because chloroform is rapidly eliminated from the body, and the tests are not specific for chloroform. (1)

You don't think even to Casey?

No. For Cindy, it's not about love for Casey or Caylee. It's about protecting herself and her delusion of being the real Mother of the Year. In her mind, Casey's exposure as a criminal sociopath who could commit the most unspeakable of crimes --harming her own child -- reflects back on her in a most negative way. She can't stand it and will go to any lengths to deflect the truth because in the end, it is all about HER.

Hope you don't mind, I copied and quoted you on this to another thread because it is such an interesting coinky-dink.

Hey all, I was just on Brians site and he is saying that Gayles team, out this evening, and dog's hit on something. He doesn't have anything further yet:eek:, but LE is there.

Just a side note/personal experience re; Chloroform.

After working for the company many, many years my husband was 'downsized' along with many others.

At the time the plant was consolidating product into one large distribution center 100 miles away.

Not to have the expense of moving a volatile product (hazmat regs, etc.) to the new distribution center, the company put some of their stock out for employees to purchase.
Most of the stock was already illegal for sale in Calif. (Calif. regs. re; certain chemical/voc substances no longer being able to be sold in Calif.)

One of the products my husband purchased was a solvent cleaner.
It's wonderful stuff...even removes dried-on tar from carpet!
I still have 12 little metal cans, white label with blue print and I call it my cleaning goldmine.

BUT.......in trying to remove some gunk from tiles (those stick-on butterflies from previous owners) and grout in our bathroom with bathroom door closed, I got lightheaded, nauseous and felt if I didn't sit down I would pass out.
Instinct, I sat on the toilet.
Thank the heavens Mr. Amity came and when he opened the bathroom door didn't take him but a second to realize what was going on.
He literally dragged me out of the bathroom (this was over 2 years ago and I've been very careful since).

He explained to me the components of this super cleaner/solvent.
It is 88% Chloroform.

Saying this because Chloroform isn't that hard to get a hold of in the industry Mr. Amity works in and if just smelling a room where Cloroform has been used can put down a large framed/ overweight woman, I can only imagine what it would do to a small child.

Perhaps some of her "friends" were meth users/producers and she was looking for a way to impress them or win their confidence so was going to attempt to get them one of their ingredients for cooking up their concoction? And maybe she actually did get it, and left it in the trunk, and while poor little Caylee was there in the trunk asleep with xanex the nanny she was breathing the fumes and she expired as a result...I get a gut feeling that there are some big time drugs in the midst of all of this SOMEWHERE...

Sorry if this has been answered, I have seen a few posters ask about chloroform being used in the production of meth...It isnt. It isnt an easily attainable compound, and meth is made from well, sudafed and a type of ammonia--a type of ammonia used by farmers, I think ammorphus, though that isnt close to the spelling I'm sure...
I know this because I live in a very rural area, you would not believe the number of meth lab busts we have on a WEEKLY basis.
I really dont think Casey was a meth user, nor her friends. They seem to want to come across as sophisticated and cosmopolitan, I think more on the drinking and using weed, maybe ecstacy sometimes....

You'd be able to tell by the way their look if they were doing a lot of meth

Yep, it's a very obvious look, and Casey's teeth look way too good for her to be a meth user.
It's really sad to see these kids where I live, kids that went to high school with my kids, and now a few years later they look just horrible. The teeth are the dead giveaway, and the purple pock marks on their faces.
I just dont see those signs on Casey. But somehow I see EVIL ooozing from her pores.

I watch her show in spite of her. She's awful. Every single night. She doesn't phrase questions properly, thus eliciting confusion among her panelists. She doesn't ask intelligent improvised follow up questions. This happens every show. I think her sneers and pouts detract from the information. It's childish. I watch her though, because she's the only game in town.

What do you like about the show? Do you mostly like Nancy? Or do you like the information that is conveyed by her guests?

The information. I also used to like NG, but her attitude has gotten worse over the years. It seems like she's angrier than she used to be. If she wants to stay home and take care of her children - fine - do that.

Does the can you have have say Methyl Chloroform? I was looking up ingredients in cleaning solvents and up pops Metyl Chloroform.

George's saying there was "cleaning fluid" in the back of the trunk of Casey's car. I always wondered why Casey had cleaning fluid in the back of her car. Most of us mught haee some "windshield washer fluid" in the trunk, but not cleaning fluid!
