Here's just the Ebonee part to save you the time...

1) Harriet Rivers – On behalf of her Missing Daughter – Ebonee Spears –

A Smiling Face Adorns the City of Wilmington Hoping for Answers!

“It’s just like the city opened up and swallowed my child whole” were the words Harriet used to describe the mysterious disappearance of Ebonee. Ebonee is a single mom with a young child, who went missing after being seen about 10:45 pm outside her Wilmington home. Prior to that time, she went to the Wilmington Police Department and tried to make a call using their phone and was frustrated when it would not operate and left, according to the officer on duty. News sources via her mother report that Ebonee was on an anti-depressant for Lupus and had been acting strangely in the days leading up to that night. In addition, her boyfriend, father of her child, went to her apartment and noted her car was in the driveway, her purse inside, but no cell phone and no Ebonee.

Her best friend, Coquitta Whitaker, owner of a local hair salon said, “She’s so responsible. This is not like her.” Ebonee was also a temporary employee at the University of North Carolina- Wilmington in their history department last spring and summer. Faculty was impressed with her work ethic and dedication to her child.

A billboard campaign was initiated by the CUE Center for Missing Persons at the beginning of March in six strategic locations throughout Wilmington. Regarding the effectiveness of billboards, according to Monica Caison, “they become larger than life and get so much more attention.” In fact, Ebonee’s face and demographic information will be seen for eight seconds 500 times a day through the rotation of the six billboards. The billboards will remain with her information as long as needed.

Anyone with information concerning Spears or her disappearance may contact official sources including the Wilmington Police Department at 910-343-3609 or anonymously submit a tip via Text-A-Tip. Send “Tip708” and the information to 274637 (CRIMES). The WPD is offering a $5,000 reward for information.

WILMINGTON -- Family and friends of missing Ebonee Spears held hands, swayed, and prayed in the spirit Tuesday night at the Apostolic Tabernacle Church, where Spears' church family asked for God to reveal her location.
Spears, 30, was last seen Jan. 15 outside of her home at the Pointe at Taylor Estates on Brooklyn Lane.
Police said Tuesday there are still no updates in the missing persons case. Occasionally the Wilmington Police Department will receive a tip, but so far when officers have followed up, spokeswoman Linda Rawley said the information doesn't lead them anywhere.
At the community prayer vigil led by Bishop Lundy Logue, several county officials vowed to Spears' family the search for her would not desist.
"There are time when there are no words we can say to comfort," said New Hanover County Sheriff Ed McMahon. "I know that God knows where she is at and the God that knows the very hairs on our head, knows where Ebonee is at."
County commissioners Jonathan Barfield and Rob Zapple spoke. Barfield led the congregation in prayer, asking for God to overturn some stone that would lead to Ebonee coming home. Zapple told the crowd the county would work tirelessly until Spears was found.
As the congregation worshiped, Logue said another purpose of the vigil was to come alongside the missing woman's family and give them encouragement.
Her mother, Harriet Rivers, said she could not believe she had made it this far -- searching for her daughter for three months after she disappeared without a trace.
"I have listened to other parents tell missing persons stories -- some of their kids missing for five years, seven years," Rivers said. "They say I'm a strong person .... but I don't see myself being a strong person seven years from now still waiting for my daughter."
The service Tuesday did give her hope, however. Rivers said the church has been a constant in her families life offering support whenever its needed.
"His will is going to be done," she said, talking about God. ""We just have to be steadfast and wait and let it happen, but it's hard -- I want it to happen now and instantly but it's going to happen."

Ebonee's cellphone is working and accepts messages.
The WPD video.
Her cellphone records.
The condition her apt was found in.
The description of the last person to see her, the first person to notice she is missing, Ebonee and everyone who saw her's step-by-step movement and actions for the two days leading up to her disappearance through the two days after.

The people that worked with her at UNCW.
(And the English students that know what they are doing. The typos in the reporting make the local news articles as cheap as they are deep.)

God leaving her on the doorstep is less likely and more time consuming, than investigating what happened to her and finding her at the end of those facts.

In a place like Wilmington, i would have expected more discussion.

I did.

i do!

Video Ebonee Spears in the WPD lobby the night she disappeared will not be released to the public, despite mother's request, stating it would impede the investigation.

New report from Kim Ratcliff of WECT states WPD have Ebonee's cellphone.

Marissa Hudley of WECT confirmed that police have her old cellphone, not her current cellphone. WHY WAS IT REPORTED THAT THE POLICE HAVE HER PHONE, WHEN ALL THEY HAD WAS AN OLD PHONE THAT NO LONGER WORKED AND WAS JUST NEVER THROWN IN THE GARBAGE? They never had her cell phone that she was using at the time she disappeared.

I'll BUMP her. I search for news about Ebonee about once a week. Her name is so distinctive, it's like you can never forget it. Like her for a lot of people she knew and loved I imagine... back up you go beautiful.

That'd be great! I had someone reply on the on the Ebonee Spears Missing Facebook Group that there was a lot of refuse back there and the cops first searched for her behind there.
