Hey why no blood reported on the stairs by paramedics or the porch? LE no mention either. Mm left the room and went to open front door as instructed during 911 call she was also told to turn a light on in porch ???

Where is the trace on the stairs carried from room on feet, where is the blood from turning porch light on? ? Was she clean ? Had she cleaned after the fact and not actually entered the room until she heard tm say they are here?

You can shout from anywhere, 1, 2, 3, 4, was he on cordless phone also not near body ?

Yes four mobile phones excluding toms which he was using. So why the hell couldnt SM have phoned 911 from the basement when the alleged altercation started? If the 2 lunatics in the bedroom were told cops were called it could have stopped them and Jason could be still alive.
Also with four cell phones in the basement , it points to a gathering in the basement between the guilty parties in order to straighten out their stories before emergency services arrived. If one of those phones is mollys to me that means she went to the basement after the murder.
Does anyone know ingredients for the cocktails molly was know to favour? Did it include rum?

Wasn't there some suggestion that MM and the wife of the neighbour who gave testimony yesterday were making mojitos. They contain rum. I think it was said during opening.

I would be more interested in knowing if one of the mobile phones belonged to JC. I would be more interested as to how that ended up in the basement bedroom. I think TM was on the phone when the paramedics arrived. It could be that he then put the phone back in the bedroom (maybe when getting his shorts).

The other odd thing...Molly had taken legal advice about custody. Anyone can google NC law and see that abuse was her best avenue to get what she so dearly wanted. If Jason is drunk and raging and they call police...now she has "evidence" and witnesses. This is the golden opportunity.

If I'm Sharon, I'm getting the police there ASAP...because if Jason is winning this alleged fight upstairs...that's my husband and my daughter being hurt...and I certainly can't stop him. But the police can and then we can start this whole process of using DV to get custody.

But she didn't call. Guess she knew who was getting hurt.

Their stories make no sense. Pure fantasy.

I wonder have we been looking at this all wrong...what do we know about TM? Why can't we find more information on him?

I've been trying to figure out why SM would sit in the basement and simply wait there. She must have heard the sirens and known it was safe to emerge, even if she had gone out the basement door and around the perimeter of the building. How controlling is Tom?

What if Jason told Molly he was leaving and she in turn phoned her parents upset. What if TM didn't simply 'awake' and decide to visit, what if he decided he could talk Jason around. He is the patriarch of the family, he controls what happens, Jason will listen to him.

The police officer noted how 'agitated' TM became when he didn't comply with a simple request to close the window. What if Jason refused to back down this time? What if he said enough was enough and nothing could change his mind. How 'agitated' would TM become? If there was no argument with Molly, Jason wouldn't have expected an ambush from Tom. He could have retired to bed and then been set upon.

TM was dressed when he attacked Jason IMO, I think he removed his jumper and trousers after the fact. I think we may have been letting him off too lightly with his knight in shining armour tag. All MOO.

Ok so here is where blood was found on them. Non descriptive of her blood stains but tm mentions spots of blood. Spots of blood is not transffered blood?

So he Brawled with Jason thumping him over 10 times with bat/brick wrestled the bat off him at one stage, went room to room trying to free "his princess" rolled jason over during 911 call - no blood Smears from contact with Jason's bleeding body, no bloody footprints, no mention of glasses that allegedly fell off during scuffle being covered in blood or broken for that matter.

Mm had blood on her face, neck, head so she was said to have been in close Proximity of Jason (being that he had her in headlock, no blood stains on her pyjamas back or front none to her palms non mention of bloody soles of feet, none to her ears or behind her ears from Jason's hand or arm no bloody fingerprints from Jason on her neck, and what's more no injury.

In my opinion and I'm not stating this as fact this is a big gap between evidence and story. I'm thinking now was Jason followed around and bet as he tried to get out of room, turn on a light, disorientated, stumbling falling down, getting up, another blow and another and another, sometimes missing and hitting the wall, was he trying to get out to the kids incase they were next. We saw in the Jodi arias case Travis made in trying to escape left blood everywhere, was JC trying to escape that room, call the police, was that his phone in basement. God....so many questions.

The scene seems contained. The Perps are cleaner than perhaps they should be. What are we missing.

Molly was drinking Mojitos earlier in the day with David Fritzche's wife Michelle, they are rum based. Interesting that the ingredients for the mojitos were still out on display but the beer bottles seem to have been cleared away, as though Jason had finished drinking once Molly's parents arrived and he was no longer in the company of his friend.

The mobile phones in the bedroom was a red flag to me also...why four phones?!

And Sharon couldn't use any of them to call for more help?

If they were both still employed at the time, probably work phones plus private phones. Both my DH and I carry work phones as well as our own cell phones pretty much at all times.

I have thought about and this case deep/long/hard. I remained a clear neutral bystander for long time. The questions that had me baffled for so long are did MC and TM pre-plan this together and what did SM know and when did she know it?
In my personal opinion now, I see the marriage quickly deteriorating, Jason announcing his plans to return to Ireland w kids. I see a mentally weak beautiful spoiled woman informing her daddy of Jason plans. The daddy that has overprotected his daughter for years needed a game plan to ensure MM's world wasn't upended. MM wanted to continue her life with or w/o JC. MM wanted the lifestyle/house/kids. The only way that could happen was with JC dead. An ex-FBI dad and a corrupt vulnerable MM laid plans. Plans that had to include domestic violence and a FBI dad coming to the aid of daughter. Adding in having neighbors share drinks as witnesses helps the alibi. I am thinking TM and MM would not have enlightened SM to their plans. But SM has now had plenty of time to work out many small details in her head...one of the biggest details is, if SM heard a scream, saw TM run upstairs w bat in hand, why did it take 3 live people 60 minutes to call police? In my mind SM became complicit and was finally included in TM and MC's plans within 60 seconds after the murder. I can hear a strong willed TM quickly telling a meek SM something along the lines of "He was attacking Molly" He was so aggressive" I had to defend her" "but wait, the police may want details with all this bloody carnage" "Let's get out stories aligned quickly" with MM and TM sharing some pre-planned alibi's w SM. I believe JC had recently informed MC to divorce plans and MC sharing JC's plans w TM forcing them to react quickly (change travel plans)

This article gives us a better indication of timeline for the evening I think. So Jason, the kids and Molly were all out in the garden, doing the lawn and having drinks until aprox 8.30pm when her parents arrived. A short time later David found Sarah's boots on his drive and when he went to return them Jason was helping Tom Martens to unload the car. We then know that TM had wine & pizza, so presumably the Corbett's ate with their guests before going to collect Jack from the birthday party at 11, as Jason had signs of food still in his stomach during the autopsy. Once home they would have had to put the kids to bed, so we could estimate 30 mins for them to brush their teeth and get settled etc. That narrows the window for this crime to have happened to between 11.30pm and 3am (aprox) IMO

TM and MM both confirmed on the 911 call to be giving cpr.
On their knees as we know Jason was on the floor. Yet no blood covering their knees and shins mentioned in evidence even though their was pools of blood noted by witnesses where he lay an tm himself says "he's a mess, there is blood all over him"

2.57 to 3.00 tm confirms he is tilting Jason's head to clear airway
5.12 he confirms he has airway clear

A qualified paramedic who was preparing to intubate tried to do the same thing and realised his hand had slipped inside the skull due to the massive trauma jason recieved to the head. There is no suggestion imo on that call that tm realised the skull fractures when supposedly tilting the head. Also he confirms he cleared the blood asking mm to go get a flannel and then telling the operator it was cleared, hope to see the flannel in evidence but also wondering how so much blood on flannel also didn't transfer to tm.

The officer explained in one photo how a paving stone (one of two weapons, along with an aluminium baseball bat, used to kill Corbett per his autopsy report) left a visible blood stain in the carpet. Scattered hairs appeared to be on the stone, according to Young. Blood also appeared on a vacuum cleaner.

Another thing bothering me is why TM got taken away in a police car and molly was given a blanket, allowed sit in police car until 5.30 am til she was brought to a neighbours. She stayed there for 90 mins. I'm not sure where she went after that but it's like at that stage, TM was taking all the rap and Her involvement in the slaughtering was being hidden. If she was had admitted her involvement to police would she not have been taken away too?

There was plenty of time to stage things in the master bdrm and elsewhere , JMO. How many mins did it take for the paramedics and police to get to the house? For all we know Jason could have been dead for awhile and Molly and her father staged things by breaking things or cracking the light switch to portray a fight between Jason and his wife before they called 911. I just strongly feel Jason was ambushed and had no chance to defend himself. If a person was in a fight, all parties would have some injuries. Molly and her father thought the crime through but I think they left one crucial thing out, they didn't stage their bodies very well to portray a violent struggle. Just all my JMO

More than that why was their NO footprints down the stairs to porch and also the basement bedroom. Can you see either of them NOT telling sm when running to or from the door to get up ! It's jason! He's dead he tried to kill molly!

I think Tom got taken away because he was the one that initially said he did the damage to Jason . Molly wasn't mentioned but then they are 2 weapons you can't say you defended yourself with 2 weapons or else you are admitting to overkill so when Molly is questioned she admits to using it . The vaccum cleaner is strange it's being pointed out for a reason . Was it still standing up or is it tossed over as you would expect during a struggle. What direction is the blood spatter on it ? Is it going in the opposite way ? Is this part of the reason they initially wanted murder 1 because things were moved and it didn't correspond with the evidence. My own opinion

TM volunteered to go to the Sheriff's office. He was photographed there and his statement taken. Molly also was photographed early that morning at the sheriff's office. I was in court and saw the photos. Molly had no visible injuries, she had on a blue and white pj set, she also had on a gold bracelet. She only had a small amount of blood on her forehead. TM was wearing the read polo and black shorts. He had a playing card size blood stain on his chest, blood splatter on shirt and feet. He did have small amounts of blood on his hand and watch. Molly was visibly upset when her pictures were shown.
