I am actually watching baseball but what is happening in NC is the most violent I have seen of all of these types of situations. jmo

I dont get it-- how come cops cant seem to catch on? The days of them abusing people are OVER.

But nothing ever happens to them, so in a way it makes sense that there culture just keeps going on and on and on
 
They are stopping/stopped bus service and The Ritz employees are barricading themselves inside the hotel with furniture.

I can --- easily - we see videos daily of cops shooting innocnent unarmed black people !

It sickened me. I'm sure the guy said something very offensive, but that doesn't mean he should have been hit with a baton.

Jax, I am still worried about your safety since you are so close to the area. What if they start burning buildings down? Are you planning on staying up so you can know what is happening? These things seem to only get more and more violent as the night goes on. Are the police close to your area?

That simply is not true and this man wasn't unarmed Cariis...........he was armed.

Respectfully I think overblowing the facts only worsens and incites the problem. JMO

I never thought I would see this in the city I love so much. Earlier, I took a bike ride, as usual, and stopped at a park near the stadium. Several protesters asked to pray with me. There are good people here, but I don't know why darkness brings out the ugliness. It was ok before it got dark. Peaceful protest with a purpose. Now, it's just unlike anything I've ever seen in the US.
