This woman's body could have different color hair, weight difference or height difference that would make them believe that this isn't Kelli, but the location is very interesting no?

It sure is!

I really want to hear who this body is. I may sound horrid, but if this is another young missing woman, then could add a bit of insight into another possible perp situation. This is just too close to FB for me to write it off until positively identified. Even then makes me wonder if not, who is this woman, and was i foul play. And if so, ummmm.....could it be a new facet to think about?

Exactly what I am thinking. Could it be linked in some way? How long has this person been missing? Is it actually possible that NH and MB are both innocent? What if one of them is connected to both? This is driving me mad!!!!

Sure is interesting Ma ma..... Also in searching this is all I came up with for missing in North Carolina....Burlington...

If they cannot tell race, depending, it could be her, otherwise cannot find any others....anyone else having any luck searching?

I can't find any women missing from Fayetteville in the past year who haven't been found. There are some who have gone missing but they all have been located either safe or deceased.

Well if this is who they found, they would easily rule out Kelli. You might have found a match.

Jumping in here to ask why Kelli isn't listed as a missing person?

Now thats very interesting!
They must have a reason to think its not her!

Remember a body was found near the river's bank during the first week Kelli went missing. We never heard if that body had been identified or anything. When I brought it up again, someone said that bodies are often found near the river :waitasec: and suggested it could have been a homeless person. That makes me sad too - a dead homeless person and their name doesn't matter in death. Besides doesn't anybody who lives in Fayetteville want to know who was found dead, regardless of who it turned out to be? I don't get that - why even publish that a body has been found to begin with if they're not going to publish the identity of the person. :waitasec:

For the above reason, although my heart is racing, I'm trying not to get my hopes up that Kelli has been found. There are other reasons too of course. It goes without saying we'd all like to find her alive.

I think if they ever do find Kelli, the location of her body will point us in the direction of her killer.

There are sciences for every subject it seems - who knows about river flow and how or why a body would stay in the same place for a long time, etc. I know things can become lodged and then, for certain reasons, dislodge for reasons known or unknown.

Would law enforcement ever say they do not think it is someone when in fact they think it is just to throw off any possible suspects?

If it's Kelli that might increase the odds that NH did it?
We never did hear more about the muddy sneakers that were found. Whose were they? Why weren't they found on the first go around? etc.
What's the deal about a reported stench? Apparently only one person could smell it? Why?

About two weeks ago I noticed that too.
My imagination can go wild - and I'm sure it is when I ask, could she have been found during that first week - the body by the river?

Ridiculous? Probably but we were never told who that person was.

I'm a little worried that LE doesn't have a clue who did it. The fact that they were leaning towards Nick as the POI in the beginning and then a couple weeks ago went down to Florida makes me think they really don't have much evidence at all. If Mike's alibi didn't check out when they visited Florida I would think they would have enough reason to arrest him on the spot. Did they go to Florida to visit Kelli's friend Justin and check out his alibi? Did they check for forensics in his car as well as Mike's old and new car? It almost seems like they have nothing to go on. It worries me:( I just want answers and the suspect to pay.

A while back there was a Fort Bragg soldiers daughter, she was maybe 15, who went missing, and then a few months ago there was a homeless man who had a female friend who ran into the water. Not sure if either was ever found. Sadly there are many homeless living in fayetteville, who you would not know they were missing, many in the prostitution business, ect., that may not be reported. But as for the location, if it is that close to Froggy Bottoms, I wonder who it could be?? Praying for answers for Kelli's family!

A river runs south correct? Never knew I'd have a reason to be interested in facts like this as I remember being taught but not what I was taught - ugh!

It looks like the river begins near Burlington but I have no idea if a body can or would travel that distance before being discovered.
DS has a 5'8" frame versus KB's 5'1" frame.

I would think that would depend on how fast the current, what articles such as trees, rocks etc might be in the water.
