I would really like to know what was going on in JR's mother & grandmother's mind while they were crying after the verdicts were read.
Was it for Teghan?
My mind will only allow me to hope that is the case.
My guess is that they are crying for JR and his demise. I'm sure this IS hard for any mother or grandmother to swallow. I'm sure their thoughts go back to the little boy they want to remember him as. The little boy who "never would be capable of such horrific behavior". But they saw it happen before their eyes...the unimaginable unfold before them. He did things to this baby girl that even the most evil of minds wouldn't fathom.
I'm sure their hearts hurt. They have to. He has brought so much pain and suffering to everyone his life has come into contact with...and his family won't be spared either.
I'd like to think they've wondered - what should I have done? Why didn't I do something sooner? Could this all have been prevented?
I don't think any mother wants to believe her baby is the root of such evil...but when the wool is removed from your eyes, and you are forced to face the reality of the son you bore, the view from clear eyes has to be unbearable.
