I wonder how their marriage was. I would think that if you had filed for divorce or were thinking about it, you would record arguments or important conversations. Especially if custody was to become an issue.

Dateline? Wow.

That's interesting. I have been so impressed by the determination of Tyler's family and friends. They are tenacious to the point that they will hopefully "smoke out" anyone with more information . . .

Unless they have security cams inside the house, the recording may not be admissible because some states have two-party consent required. Because you are capturing audio as well as video, I think that is correct?

That’s a good question…. I live in Illinois which is a two party consent state. I just looked up Nebraska - one party consent.

Anyone know when the Dateline episode is supposed to air? and on what streaming platforms?
It looks like the next new episode will be on Dec 22 (Fri) at 9pm C on NBC. Looks like it will be streaming on Peacock.

Please note I don't see where they have officially announced which case will be covered. Hopefully it is TG. Any visibility is good I would think.

MOO

Dateline usually airs TV episodes where there is some resolution in the event of criminal conduct. That is, when an arrest is made and/or a verdict is reached. (Or a case with widespread national interest i.e. JonBenet Ramsey.)

TG's case is not there yet so I wouldn't expect a TV episode. We don't even know that a crime has been committed.

However, Dateline does have a website for missing persons. That's likely where any coverage will be found.

I do not know, Not that big of a tv watcher.
Does Dateline investigate directly or do they just report what's been stated?
IMO Dateline has some added opinions of their own and biases during wording statements but they do normally hold good interviews with detectives, witnesses, forensic specialist, and other professional specialists.
