I'm at a total loss on this..... it's REALLY bothering me that Abby or any of her belongings haven't been found..... it's been 4 weeks!!!!!

It's pretty simple really, they have not looked in the right place yet. The only option is to keep investigating, tracking down leads and keep searching. Abby and her stuff are still out there somewhere waiting to be discovered. IMHO, someone within a 5 mile radius of the high school knows something. :moo:

For me, and this is 100% MHO, at some point along the way home, she 'got a ride' from someone. So for me, either she willingly accepted a ride from someone she knows, or she was abducted and taken unwillingly by someone she does not know.

To all those following missing persons cases in Massachusetts, as has been mentioned on this thread, a hiker came across remains near the Brockton/Bridgewater line today. A new WSer posted the news on the Debbie Melo thread. She disappeared nearby in June 2000. Just thought you might like to know.

I hope if Abigail is deceased, it won't take this long for her to be found :(

Do we know where the trash is "hauled" to from N Conway? What "company" or private hauler/service operates in the Redstone; N/S road area?

Sometimes people find things and throw them away-bags etc. Is there a private landfill or public trash location?

Have they searched the landfill? If not, I wonder why? I guess no tips/ evidence leading them to believe she could be there?

No curbside pickup so you either have to take your own trash or hire a private company.

the reporter referred to RH as ZH's husband...... she did not.... i believe they are divorced

Not quite sure why my post responding to your post got deleted. No I don't think they are divorced. The reason she's sketchy on it IMO is Bc her boyfriend is in the military and there is an adultery law.

Here's a link to the story and it sounds like it's partial skeletal remains. Most likely not Abigail but hopefully someone will be getting closure on their loved one soon.

If you look at the map, anyone traveling to/from the site would most likely travel down N/S Road; Redstone St or Eastman RD. (unless they were East of the site).
Looks like Redstone St and N/S road merge/start closer to Cranmore?

Not to start a debate on drones, but wouldn't it be nice if the PD had a drone they could send up seeking heat returns to try and find missing persons?

sorry...i wasn't trying to sleuth, just posting some local links.:blushing:

Nancy Grace is about to talk about Abby on her show.

Yeah, except I think she's getting some of the details wrong (cheerleader? got on the school bus? went missing between the bus stop and her home?) What??? It's not helpful if they're putting out false info! At least they got her name right and put her photo out there for people to see all over the country...

Earlier today someone posted that we should go back to the basics. IMHO the basic situation is Abby went missing from her home town, on her way home from school. Someone at school or someone she was in contact with via her cell phone (or possibly a computer or device used at the school--but wouldn't those be monitored or blocked for personal contact?) Someone she knew and was in contact with knew were Abby was last, wheres she was headed and why she wasn't on the bus. Her BF saw her walking received **one of the last texts** we are told were sent by Abby. Who else was she in contact with that day and the days leading up to it. Someone knows, this is small community and a somewhat small school.

Something happened to Abby and someone or more than one someone in that small community knows exactly what. I think that LE may be holding their cards close because I have no doubt that they have a very clear picture of Abby's digital footprint in the days leading up to her being missing.

ALWAYS MOO

I can't deal with NG, she drives me nuts. So I'll wait for all of you to post updates. :phone:

She didn't mention anything new at all. And she messed up details about how she went missing. Oh, she also called her a cheerleader. Other than showing her name and photo, it was pointless unfortunately.

I hope this case doesn't end up like the Skylar Neese case.

I don't have any reason to believe any of Abby's classmates harmed her.

But it did occur to me that a student(s) with working parents could have arrived home late or dirty/disheveled and nobody would have been the wiser. Many adults (not all, of course) are at work during the time that Abby went missing. Students with working parents, however, may be free and unsupervised until evening time.

JMO.

So frustrating that such a big, national show cannot take the time to confirm that the case information they are presenting is correct before going on air.

And the list goes on about how our missing are found by hikers, farmers, walkers.

Morgan, Hailey, Dylan and now another one. There just has to be a better way to find those murdered souls laying on the ground covered in leaves!

Sorry but it surely gets to me that we can send a man to the moon, invent computers, spy on foreign countries but we can't find our dead.

There just has to be a better way!
