His motor vehicle offense and arrest was prior to abby being missing

His court appearance was during the week of abby's disappearance

Ah, I see. So then ICAC was probably not checking him out at that time.

I still like the idea that Mom's BF and the Navy might have influenced the LE response level. JMO, but I don't feel that it had to do with any obvious crime scene that they're not telling us about.

Thanks for your input!

Didn't LE say they had people say they saw Abby taking the power line trail? Then why are they now on MHFAH face book page asking people to call the FBI is they saw anything on the North South road?

because they want people to call with anything they have. There were sightings on NS road, unconfirmed. I think they'd like a confirmed. As for that page, they are blasting out this afternoon and evening for information. They are a month in now and I think an entirely different sort of panic is setting in.

How would they "confirm" a sighting?

I think they have numerous people saying they saw someone who matched AH's description in the road. If they found a witness who knew AH and said, yes I saw AH on NS Road, that would be a confirmation, I believe.

Is anyone aware how long the house was taped off?
I'm thinking of Ayla Reynolds case where the house was off limits to anyone but LE for a week or more. There are clear differences in the cases, such as Ayla was reported kidnapped from the home.

I'm wondering how quickly a home would be returned to it's occupants if something radical occurred there?

What if it was someone who didn't know her but fit the description given by LE. Wouldn't they ask make and color of said vehicle? What if LE over looked some of the sightings? Maybe they need to go back over them.

She was walking.. They are still looking for sightings of her walking to get a better idea of timing and where she went missing from . If somebody saw her get in a vehicle, yes, they'd ask make and model.

For the new and also those untamed, you may not sleuth friends of Abby's from her FB. This includes people who may like photos, etc. You may especially not link indirect connections, such as not-so-upstanding citizens who may be related to people who are Abby's friends or those who like photos, etc.

I appreciate that information, thank you!

So was she ok posting what she did? It seemed ok to me. It isn't deleted nor marked. But, came from watching a page? This is where I get confused.

 Untamed-Tamed? LMAO talk to my parents (wait you can't,but trust me they'd laughLOL)

I wonder if that is a habit. I tend to do that if I'm cold, sometimes just on one sleeve. I also remember she was playing with/stretching the hair band on her wrist in another photo.

I do that too and I'm a guy! Just one sleeve depending on temp. All, or most, of my daughter's friends keep their sleeves down to their fingers except for the texting hand and they all text with just one hand.
The extra long sleeves seems like a fashion thing, not hiding things IMO.

No, it wasn't okay but I left it because no names were named. We've been down this exact road before with the same folks.

I do not believe a lowly sailor in the bowels of a ship in Deigo Garcia would have any pull with getting boots on the ground in NH

Lets 's face it he can't even seem to get emergency leave to offer comfort to Zenya.

Now if we were talking about a senator or Congressman then maybe!!!!

MOO

Abby's grandpa was a veteran of WW II in US Navy. Dont know but maybe RH was able to provide that immediate FBI presence thruout his father....

That's a good point and I don't know how lowly a Chief Steward is but in his statement he said that he had spoken to the FBI but no mention of when that was. Having said that, I should clarify that I doubt he himself has any influence but someone above him may. I can understand that he wouldn't be granted leave again since AH is not a direct relative.

I do not think he is a member of the US Navy. They use private contractors on US ships for certain functions-Kitchen and food prep mostly. This is what a "chief steward" is. Members of the Merchant Marine/Private contractors operate parts of this vessel.

Article does not say that he is a member of the US Navy-just on board a Navy Ship.

The Seay's crew consists of 30 civilian merchant mariners, all employees of Patriot Contract Services, of Walnut Creek, Calif., which has a contract to operate six cargo ships in the Ready Reserve Fleet, said William L. Cook, an MSC public affairs specialist, based in Norfolk, Va.

Six of the crewmembers are women, explained the ship's master, Capt. Roger L. Haskell. Female crewmembers have become common on MSC ships. "The women are just like the men," he said. "Some are good, and some aren't."

One of the women, in fact, has performed so well that she has been promoted into the officer ranks. Tamara Becker has been named third mate in the deck department. Becker, an eight-year veteran of the Merchant Marine, said she earned the promotion "by meeting all of the requirements and working hard."

The Seay's crew even includes a full family. "We have a husband, wife and daughter on board," Haskell said. "One of my colleagues sent his greetings to them," he joked. "He said, 'Say hi to the Brady Bunch.'

Operated by SIU-contracted American Overseas Marine (AMSEA), the Seay is one of 12 Navy ships assigned to the Maritime Prepositioning Ship Squadron Two, which ensures the readiness of the U.S. Navy by prepositioning ships in the Pacific. As one of those ships, the Seay carries prepositioned cargo for various U.S. military services with the mission of transporting vital equipment and supplies to a designated area of operations in support of combatant commanders worldwide.
