It is almost 2:30 you might want to go to the tv and I think they will have an update after the half hour, well after they get through talking about Pippa's behind.

Seriously seem like they have been updating Celina's case about every 15 min.

I have a very stong suspicion that if we find out the SF did do something to her, he will never be held accountable because of his mental status.

I would expect a kidnapper or murderer to move a body a lot further away from the general search area. That has me leaning more toward an accidental drowning or suicide.

Unless the perp needed to get back home quick, for an alibi. I am sure the FBI has asked Celina's mom if her husband and sons were home ALL that night. I think one of them could sneak out for an hour or so and not be missed. But it would be a bigger gamble to drive a longer distance and possibly be missed at home and/or be seen on the road.

I'm not a mental health professional but I do have a son with schizophrenia. When a schizophrenic person is going through a good period, they may appear mostly normal. They can be charming and funny...although you may always get the feeling that something is not quite right with their behavior. They do not have the ability to pick up on socially acceptable cues....their sensors are a bit off.
When a schizophrenic person undergoes a psychotic episode, it is immediately noticeable. There are any number of odd behaviors....which could include slurred speech, weird tics, constant sitting and standing, jerking muscles, increased agitation, irrational arguments, etc. In other words, the person can become like a stranger.....and there have been times that I have been fearful of my own child, because I didn't recognize him. To me, his entire appearance would change during episodes.
I wouldn't be too hard on the mom either. We don't know her circumstances yet. And it might be quite easy to meet, fall in love, and marry a very sick person who was having a good number of months...or who was compliant with medications, seeing a specialist, etc....but who later began to display disturbing tendencies either through the deterioration of his condition or through stopping his medical treatment plan (which we know schizophrenics almost always do at some point).

Ughhhh. If that's the case, and we certainly don't know if he's responsible, I hope that anyone with a mental or psychotic condition guilty of a crime of any nature is kept in a facility for life. I'm tired of our nation's innocents being brutalized, murdered and discarded! It HAS TO STOP!

OK I used to work at a hospital for emotionally disturbed and behavior disordered people.(Thats the terms used at that time in the 80's) I understand about the unpredictability of behavior during the episodes.

However, what is so suspect for me in this situation is the timing!

I am pretty sure the family knows that is her. This town has less than a handful of people in it.

I personally don't believe in the insanity plea. I think if a person is capable of concealing the truth they must know they did something wrong and should be held accountable.

I'd have to disagree. Holly Bobo's FB account is still up .. and I'm sure BoBo's FB pages are being hit as I type.

LE / FBI must have had FB close Celina's account almost immediately upon locating her body.

I tried to look at Celina's page yesterday and it was deleted then. It's been gone a bit.

In the first few days of this case, a member here posted a link to a story on the background of the stepfather. IIRC, he had been previously treated for schizophrenia, and according to thr link I read, he had attacked a previous girlfriend, or some significant other, covering her with a mattress hand jumping I. Top of it, or something similar to that. So, if the SF was truly treated previously for schizophrenia, then the rolling on the ground, etc, that he reportedly did before being taken to the hospital today would be so much more understandable. I will try to find the link.

I'm going out on a limb I don't usually go out on. Once in a great while I get a "feeling" about something and just have to run with it.

That's all this is...a feeling.

Is there a store in the town that is open late? I just sense a girl (even that young on a summer night in a small town) slipping out because of boredom or heat. Walking down a quiet short road to a store and perhaps stopping on the way to sit near water.
I'm thinking this could be an accident and she fell into the river. I also think her body will be found in another few days on the Vermont side of the river.

Hell, I just scared myself!

I am pretty confident that they could have a forensic dentist compare the pictures of Celina's teeth with the body and make a determination.
Celina's teeth were distinctive enough to pretty safely do that, along with size, hair and any clothing.

However... that hinges on them having teeth to use.
