I think Mommy has been drinking something as well. She seems a little tipsy in this video!

My first thought when this came out (and she had the black skin) was it was a hoax and I am not a gullible person. However, what would the benefit of this be? It has to be real.

What I don't get is why every picture/interview she has varying degrees of color on her face (from Oompa Loompa orange, dark leather brown, and fake black). I think these pics are all within a couple of weeks, right?

I assume the teachers think she is a whack job and jumped on the opportunity to turn her in. If the kid had a nominal sunburn, which most kids get at some point - and parents aren't arrested!, I can't imagine them calling police. For the record, my kids are redheaded and fair skinned, so I know the precautions you must take, but once in a while I mess up and they don't have sunscreen on.
 
I agree about the varying shades of her skin. I don't know if it's a lighting thing but in the video from inside her livingroom the other day she looked WAY darker than she does in the outside videos. Or in her mugshot. I am thinking it's lighting. And honestly, I would not put it past the news station who shot that video to darken her up a bit for ratings' sake. What I don't understand is why her bottom lip had some black outline going on in the mugshot but in this TMZ video her lips are chalky white. So weird.

And ya, she's drunk or on something. No question.

Its not a Jersey thing - its a Jerky thing and she looks like a Oompa Loompa or an old catchers mitt.

Sadly, you can find hundreds of these species wandering the boardwalks of the Jersey shore on any given summer weekend.

Yeah, they can. I've known two women personally. My ex-boyfriend's mother looked black, yet she was of German Jewish descent (Caucasian). No hoax!
 
From the looks of it she is paying for her tanning bed sessions and the bronzer she uses by working many, many shifts at the Willie Wonka Chocolate Factory.
 
I was rereading one of the articles (need to take a break from sad crime stories once in a while!) and she has 5 kids who are humiliated about this (rightly so). I can't even imagine what they are going through. Hopefully this lady will stop having interviews, stop tanning so she doesn't look like a freak show, and this will quietly go away for the kids' sake.

Yeah, but not before she gets some kind of reality show offer, which I wold guess was the goal all along.

I don't think so. Who said it was all filmed in one day? Different lighting in different settings can also account for her different colors, and someone suggested she may also be using spray-on tanners, but I have known two caucasian women that reached shades as dark as her.
This woman is a tanning addict and is a danger to her daughter. I don't think it's a stretch that she's trying to introduce a 6-year-old to it. She probably can't stand that her daughter is as fair-skinned as she is.

In that one interview where her face is exceptionally dark it looks like she might have the tattoo coverup on her face.

I think this is a "nonstory" myself. I don't believe she put her child in a tanning bed IMHO. Probably a hoax.
