I would agree........ Unless someone was devious enough to drive to SI, leave their phone, drive back to NJ do what they will for four hours, then go retrieve their phone telling police that’s where they take girls knowing full well there is nothing there....... listen, 2 five to eight hour searches of over one hundred acres In Staten Island is not much of a search. I would trust there is MUCH the police know that we do not.
There is a pond, as has been discussed...... not very deep at all. The area is quite large, considering 6 hrs time..... I just can’t imagine it has been walked completely effectively...... I’m nearly 50 years old, when I was a late teen/early twenties, this area was easily accessible with your pickup........ Many people burned stolen cars there. Now, the powers that be have put barricades around it, you’re not really invited in, and they call it a park. It’s not a park, it’s overgrown, protected land, that I would presume goes the way of all protected Staten Island land.......... One of our politicians kids will buy it, re-zone it and build townhouses.after all the tidbits found on his phone already i highly doubt he’d be smart enough to leave his phone on SI while hiding her body elsewhere, it’s got to be there! Or something is.
As someone who works with shovels though, I’d say it would be extremely difficult to find a spot to dig in the woods without hitting a ton of roots and rocks etc. I don’t think they will find her whole body buried there... maybe there’s some water within the island or maybe a cave or a burn site?
The entire area is large but has anyone at least made one pass of the whole place with a cadaver dog? It is probable that, if she is gone to heaven, her body is buried very shallowly.
Not legally. But he would have disclosed the location eventually after the calm removal of his fingers. I understand LE can’t do this but others might have tried.
