This picture... what a beautiful little girl. just look - she was much more than a 10-year old girl... the light in her eyes in this picture... the glow she radiates... it's all just too much. There can be no justice for this, no matter what.

Laura Bobbs, a minister and close friend of the family, said Martens had no contact with Victoria’s father.

Not sure what you can glean from this, but I believe Martens is the mother's maiden name....?? That said, I did see a reference to a husband in a very old comment on her FB page.....but that doesn't mean he would have been this child's father.

I wonder who is the mastermind of this horrific crime.

Kelley stood silent as Judge Schultz read the list of charges against her, among them child abuse resulting in death, as well as kidnapping.

A judge ordered the third suspect in the rape and murder of a 10-year-old Albuquerque girl to be held on a $1 million cash-only bond, same as her co-defendants.

Jessica Kelley made her first appearance in court on Saturday morning. She appeared before a judge in a wheelchair and flanked by multiple guards.

So Gonzales and Kelley both have arrest records dating back to when they were teens. I wonder what their juvenile records show? Why, oh why were these monsters given access to this precious baby girl?? Breaks my heart . . . .

Because her mother made poor choices. Her mother is 100% responsible for not protecting her child.

Incomprehensible, and infinitely sad.

It appears that a volatile stew of violence and sexual abuse was experienced before by at least one of the perpetrators, if not all three. This cycle of terror likely continued with Victoria, the next vulnerable child in line for this particularly grotesque form of subjugation and abuse, now mutated into something far more barbaric and murderous.

When methamphetamine (and possibly other drugs and alcohol) crystallized in that apartment Tuesday night, the complete breakdown of inhibitions and rational thought only added to the rush experienced by these damaged criminals. The unspeakable violence committed against this child, then having nowhere else to go, became directed against one another, traveling the shortest distance possible before clamorously bursting into the night--banging on doors, jumping from a balcony, screeching from a smoke alarm.

Gruesome, remorseless, a psychopathic ball of terror formed by a gang of miscreants, the end result falling upon a beautiful child who lies brutalized, burned, and dismembered.

According to New Mexico Courts, Kelley and another woman were previously charged with raping a woman. Those charges were dismissed, but Kelley was convicted of being there, which is a sex crime. A judge gave her three years and she served them all after violating her probation.
According to Kelley’s Facebook page, she was released just ten days ago. That’s when she moved in with her cousin and his girlfriend, and tragically, Victoria.

Just when you've thought (or hoped) you've heard it all...:facepalm: This whole thing actually triggered a near anxiety attack for me. Honest to god, my heart was beating out of my chest. Bless this child's soul. I'm just sick.

I just can't get over this, I cried last night, I cried today, and seeing her picture just rips my heart more into. I told some friends about this, and they couldn't stand to hear about it, nor talk about it.
So far, this has been one of the hardest child abuse/death cases for me....and I sobbed for Caylee Anthony.....when will the madness stop?
