So he did not commit suicide.
FAA license nit allowed to be renewed. FAA won't release any health info.
IMO there is something that needs to be disclosed.
Physical or mental, or both.
I also see his driver's license had expired too.

I would not be surprised if Stephen Paddock is an injustice collector. That is what characterizes rampage killers and terrorists. of course this is too early to tell. We should hear more in the coming days.

Dr. Mary Ellen O'Toole was on television. She stated that Stephen Paddock likely planned it for a while.

1.) Injustice Collectors are convinced that they are never wrong. How is it possible that they are never wrong? It is simple: They are always right.

2.) Injustice Collectors never apologize. Ever. For anything.

3.) Injustice Collectors truly believe that they are morally and ethically superior to others and that others chronically do not hold themselves to the same high standards as the injustice collector does.

4.) Injustice Collectors make the rules, break the rules and enforce the rules of the family. They are a combined legislator, police, and judge and jury of

5.) Injustice Collectors never worry about what is wrong with themselves as their "bad list" grows. Their focus is always on the failings of others.

6.) Injustice Collectors are never upset by the disparity of their rules for others with their own expectations of themselves.

7.) Injustice Collectors rationalize their own behavior with great ease and comfort.

Here are more with 20 characteristics

Characteristics of Injustice Collectors

1. Injustice collectors are never wrong. How is it possible that they are never wrong? It's simple: They are always right.

2. Injustice collectors never apologize. Ever. For anything.

3. Injustice collectors truly believe they are morally and ethically superior to others and that others seem incapable of holding themselves to the same high standards as the injustice collector does.

4. Injustice collectors make the rules, break the rules and enforce the rules of the family. They are a combination of legislator, police, judge and jury to those they consider their subjects. They forever banish from their kingdom any subject they deem disloyal, and only grant clemency if there is sufficient (in their eyes) contrition.

5. Injustice collectors never worry about what is wrong with them as their "bad" list grows. Their focus is always on the failings of others.

6. Injustice collectors are never troubled by the disparity between their rules for others and their own expectations of themselves. Injustice collectors rationalize their own behavior with great ease and comfort.

7. Injustice collectors have an external orientation; the problem always exists in the world, outside of themselves, and in their view, the world would be an acceptable place if their rules and standards were followed at all times.

8. Injustice collectors do not have a capacity for remorse, empathy or guilt.

9. Injustice collectors scoff at the idea of therapy, therapists, self-help books, and other tools used by people who struggle to live with them.

10. The phrase "walking on eggshells" describes life with an injustice collector.

11. The IC (injustice Collector) will prey upon your weaknesses to frame all issues in their terms.

12. IC's will always cry foul when you are 'mean' to them and accuse you of being nasty when you are confronting them with their negative behavior.

13. They are titanically insecure and cannot trust anyone. All relationships they have, even with their own parents and children and trustless and must be reinforced by subordination over and over.

14. They can only strengthen relationships through imprisoning their mates and banning behaviors and other relationships. Friends and family are a huge threat to the IC.

15. They must repetitively revisit situations where you service them, give in to them and agree with them. They will over time shrink your world to a small plot of empty activities that only they like. They are terrified of travel, meeting new people, understanding new concepts and paroling you from any punishment they have previously 'convicted' you of.

16. They do not care about you at all, they care about aggrandizing themselves with you as an assistant producer.

17. They will occasionally do something for you, but if you are not completely brainwashed, it will be a negative experience for you in the end. Example is throwing you a birthday party. I guarantee you will not have fun at your own party.

18. They will force you to choose between them and other things you like or love. The more you choose them, the more they will make you choose them over and over. They do not understand the concept of loyalty at all.

19. Hypocrisy is their modus operandi for debating and arguing with you. Everything they say about you is true about them. (aka Projection) It makes it so you try to 'win' fights by getting them to agree with you, which they never can because their whole position is false.

20. Your life will disappear into their lives. Your hopes and dreams will fade, even in your own mind. You will eat what they want, you will watch what they want on TV, you will vacation where they want, or not at all.

Identifying The Next Mass Murderer—Before It’s Too Late
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blo...ntifying-the-next-mass-murderer-it-s-too-late

On June 17, 2015, according to authorities, Dylann Storm Roof (link is external) walked into the Emanuel
African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, sat down, and after an hour or so allegedly shot three men and six women, attending a bible study class. Immediately people began to take sides, and not just about the gun debate. Was this an act of terror? Was this a hate crime? Was this a “lone wolf?” Was this a conspiracy? On and on. What is interesting as well as frustrating is that none of these terms serve a useful purpose.

Four years ago, on July 22, 2011, Anders Behring Breivik set off a bomb near the government headquarters of the Labor Party in Oslo, Norway; after which he proceeded to the secluded island of Utøya, where he methodically killed, with a high powered rifle, 65 plus children attending a youth event. Does it matter if we call Anders Behring Breivik a terrorist, mass murderer, or a lone wolf? Not really, only one thing matters: how did he become this way, and were there signs that could have prevented this horrendous tragedy?

Once again we face a mass murder (FBI defined as 4 or more) and we need to get past the debate over the nomenclature (terrorist, extremist, mass murderer, lone wolf, genocide, etc.)—that serves no prophylactic purpose. When it comes to Dylann Storm Roof, Anders Behring Breivik, the Boston Marathon Bombers, or the likes of Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski known as the UNABOMBER, and Timothy McVeigh, it’s not what we call them, the issue is: could we have prevented their acts? The answer is yes. And yet, we seem to be incapacitated when we hear the term “lone wolf” or “solo terrorist” as if we were describing a demon beyond our capability to identify and stop.

GT...This includes twitter? I guess I am confused by your post. Twitter quotes/video feeds from media/reporter personalities are not permitted? Or are you saying they are permitted? I wouldn't know how to link it anyway, but I sure wouldn't want anyone to get TO (timeout) because they misunderstood. And this is a stressful time & subject for so many.

Twitter links are allowed if the account is MSM or it's a MSM reporter's account.

Hope that clarifies. :)

I can't help but wonder if he sent her away purposefully to get her out of the way because of his demonic plans. Her ID was used to book the hotel room. IMO, just because she was out of the country when the shootings occurred doesn't mean she is not involved. Can't really understand why she was "cleared" so soon. IMO, she needs to be brought here ASAP to be questioned. I'm not buying the "she wasn't involved because she was out of the country" BS.

Was her ID used to book the room? I know he had some sort of ID that belonged to her, but I didn't connect that it was used to obtain the hotel room. Is there a link for that?

tia

Yes. I want a reason too.

I find it grounding to know the reason. I know it frustrates others here who focus on other things like justice or punishment or memorializing the victims. My focus and interest is almost always on wanting a reason.

jmopinion

I don't just focus on justice or punishment, I absolutely have to know the "why" of a crime.

Better yet, how about "coward". Some of these freaks think "killer" sounds macho and cool.

Psychopaths aren't psychotic. They're pretty much classified as personality disordered (anti-social personality disorder). Well able to understand right and wrong and to make decisions or choose not to do something. They just don't care.

They have a very serious affect on society often but they don't really have a serious mental illness.

I agree. These types feel so entitled, have no empathy for others, they like to play hero/victim all their life and keep list of grievances against other people for the most trivial or imagined slights. The worst thing about NPD/ASPD is that it becomes worse with age. :/

Another CNN update says he was still alive when SWAT officers broke into his room. He charged them and fought, managed to shoot one officer in the leg before being killed. He went out fighting.

Do you have a link? I can only find that he committed suicide before they entered. TIA!

Off topic breaking news!! Baby william gouchenor has been found!!!

What I said in my last post might be valid for some mass shooters, but in this case I have changed my mind.

The thing it reminds me of is a scene from Schindler's list. It's not hate for humanity, it's disdain for humanity combined with a desire to have god-like power over life and death and absolute disdain and lack of empathy for the lives affected.

I have no idea what causes this, but this is my current assessment of this particular shooter.

Maybe this is why there's so much confusion over what's happened in his head and apparently nothing obvious in his background (yet), because it really is different from a lot of other shootings like Columbine or Sandy Hook, it's in a different category, so it doesn't have the same hallmarks in the shooter or the victims, and that is going to be confusing to us because we're more used to incidents like those I just named or hate attacks where people are attacked because they belong to some group by politics or race or religion, etc.

It gets confusing when two mass murderers are discussed at one time.

According to the Sheriff in the last PC, it was hotel security he shot at through the door and a security officer who was shot in the leg. He killed himself before LE made their way into the suite.

You know what? We need people who think like that too. Seeking justice is important and honoring those lost is imporant but understanding how these things happen is really important too. I'd argue it is even MORE important in our polarized culture, when so many just try to look for the things that confirm their own narratives and biases. Of course, my brother survived a mass shooter years ago, so maybe that just makes me look at it differently, I don't know.

In that incident, the shooter had a long history of mental illness, and at least one NIH study I found today says that's true in about sixty percent of mass shootings. But it's also true that millions of Americans deal with some type of mental illness and 99.99% of them would never do this, so it certainly can be A factor, but it doesn't seem to be THE factor that explains everything entirely.

The first question out of every reporter's life last night was "is this terrorism?" When LE shot that down, obviously people go looking for other factors. It sure didn't look like workplace violence or domestic violence. As we learned more, it seemed like we could rule out racial or religious motives. And then the brother and LE state they haven't found anything political. What about just being evil? Maybe. It seems unusual for someone that evil to go into later life with such little contact with LE, but like others said he may just not have been caught or we may hear stories come out later that give that angle more support. LE may be playing things close to the vest now as the investigation is still so early.

We may be debating this one for a long, long time. But that's what we do here.

I've got to say that I'm totally furious that this SOB Coward killed himself before he could be stopped. It just feels so unfair that the victims' families do not get the chance to look this in the eye and get to say what they need to say in order to heal. Anytime these POSs commit suicide it cheats the victims of the crime and the public out of any closure at all. There is no trial, nothing at all, to help them feel justice has been served. I feel so furious and so sad for those people that my heart breaks for them.

Just wanted to say thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Our friend is in ICU she was shot in the head and they are unsure if she will pull through.

Those of you who pray or send positive vibes etc. we have just gotten word that my friend who was at the concert has been located at the hospital, however her current status is unknown until someone can get there in person. The people she was with are on lockdown in their hotels.

:tears: Oh nooo. Prayers and sincere wishes for your friend. This has to be very stressful for you and all her family/friends. You are WS family, and thus your friend is one of us through that association. Please let us know how it goes. I pray for a full recovery :please:

I'm wondering if this guy was involved in some kind of illegal activity and he knew he was going to be found out soon. A millionaire accountant, what might he have been involved in?

Sorry if this has been explained but it's hard to keep up with the thread. How was her ID used to book the room? I was in vegas in July and frequently go to AC and they always ensure the person who's name the room is booked under is present during check in. IMO to prevent people handing off their comps but I'm curious how he was able to check in if the room was in her name and she wasn't present.

Such a great post. It appears I'm not familiar with your posts but I will be from now on.
