I'm several pages behind, reading posts from about 9 hours ago (7 pm-ish CST) and my thought, which is very conspiracy-theory-ish, is that the info they've changed seems to put more of a slant on the "LE saved hundreds of lives" angle that the Sheriff was stating in the beginning.

I don't think the security guard or LE saved hundreds of lives. SP could have shot hundreds more people in the time it took them to get to his room...he could have continued firing literally until they opened his door and then killed himself.

The bottom line is, he chose to start when he started, and he chose to end when he ended, and no LE of any kind had influence on it.

Omg. I JUST CANNOT with the constant conspiracy theories. It's literally ruining this forum for me. It was never like this before.

:gaah:

What makes the shooter a "Patsy"? What's not "adding up"? The fact that LV released the timeline before they knew it was absolutely air tight? He could have shown more discipline imo. But that does not equate a purposeful conspiracy. Maybe the videos haven't been released to the public yet because this is an ongoing active investigation. We are not entitled to all of their evidence as the receive it. They have to protect the investigation.

The fact that they literally did not have a grasp on the very first event in this massacre makes them lose credibility.

It cannot possibly have been that difficult to know exactly when the SG was shot, exactly when the first 911 and/or hotel front desk calls were received, and exactly when the last gunfire was.

There are dozens of videos from personal cell phones out there that illustrate the shooting timeline over and over.

If LE can't even get that detail right, how are we to trust the rest of the info they're releasing?

I'm not saying there is anyone involved other than SP, but I think LE is trying to make it seem like they did a better job responding than they actually did.

"By the time Paddock ended the terror attack by taking his own life, 59 people were dead and another 527 injured. In the midst of one 31-second span, he fired a staggering 280 rounds, roughly nine bullets every second — from about 1,200 feet away."

"Police said Paddock managed to fire off over 200 rounds as the security guard approached the suspect's room alone. But the guard managed to direct police to the exact location of Paddock's suite and even provided a hotel key to officers looking to clear rooms on the 32nd floor before they insisted he get medical attention."

I am flabbergasted that the security guard had such (comparatively) minor injuries considering he was exposed to 200 rounds at a much closer range than what the crowds were. Am I misunderstanding this contradiction or am I making comparisons where none exist? :dunno:

More from LA Times:

“Please remember this — our focus has been all along finding if there were other unknown subjects and trying to trace his steps and trying to do all these things,” said Roberts. Compiling the sequence of events in the hallway, he said, “has not been the priority for us.”

He said officials hope to release a complete timeline on Friday."

Really???????

"Figuring out when this event started and who was the first and only thing closest to a witness simply wasn't a priority" ?????? (This is my sarcastic quote, not an actual LE quote)

Especially since it says he was shot in the thigh. The bullet miraculously missed a major artery. But the SG continued to help evacuate the 32nd floor until LE forced him to get medical attention?

Cariis, your inbox is full. The point of my earlier post was that there was possibly a second shooter. I have no idea about the source, but I personally have questions regardless about a second shooter. The two broken windows don't make sense, they were in two separate rooms / areas. It makes no sense for him to have been running back and forth between two rooms, quite far apart. None at all. jmo

That is a known conspiracy and fake news website

I've read many articles regarding conspiracy theory. Eyewitness accounts are not theories IMO.. I have no idea why people like to discredit them or say well they were panic, they must be wrong. It's insulting IMO

Eyewitness accounts are generally not as reliable as you may think

There are a lot of studies and articles on it

Well, that proves one of my suspicions. With the amount of smoke produced inside his room during this massacre, he would have been a fool not to have some sort of breathing apparatus and eye and ear protection.
Seems he did have a gas mask. Hmm...
MOO

Yup from this pic I saw the blue tubing and figured he slapped together some kind of gas mask.

Sheriff shares new details about Las Vegas shooting investigation

https://www.reviewjournal.com/local...tails-about-las-vegas-shooting-investigation/

Seems there have been so much bad reporting by the msm. Apparently a story about suspect being seen with a prostitute isn't true? And his girlfriend never claimed his mental health deteriorated in recent months. And yea, his brain is normal-for those who kept insisting he had to have a brain tumor.
By the way police didn't help matter by providing erroneous timeline for a week-something they should have been able to quickly figure out, considering that security guard informed hotel and hotel apparently did inform the police.
So instead of getting closer, we are even further away from what the motive was. His brain is normal, his mental health was fine, and he didn't see hookers.

Marilou Danley has been put on 'Select Watch List', TSA notified, to prevent her leaving country and being unavailable
for follow questioning. She still has not been cleared.
Brother Eric has also 'not been cleared'

Sources tell GMA the FBI and Sheriff are NOT getting along as Sheriff has put obstacles in way of FBI during investigation.
