To add to that, I don't see Campos listed anymore. Was he yanked that quickly?

Anymore... I wasn't aware he was ever listed. Folks searched for him as soon as his name was released, and he wasn't there. There was speculation he was Larry Jesus Campos, but that turned out to not be the case.

-An earlier poster mentioned ‘in the walls or woodwork”. A clever idea.
I suppose ‘sheetrock’? Who would know where Eric’s brother hides things...money and stuff...?
Placing something behind sheet rock would be a major ordeal unless there is entry in some way. But as a carpenter's kid I can think of a lot of other ways to hide things, depending on how big the items are. False outlets are a good way to place small things behind wallboard. Heat registers and duct work are possibilities. Floorboards are a pretty obvious way. Pop out the medicine cabinets as well and check in those walls.

This site set off alarm bells immediately. CNN does not have links to the kind of stories that come up in the advertisements on this page. Plus, anything coming from CNN is always going to be cnn.com followed by a / backslash.

Red flags that a site may be a clever clone of an MSM site. First, always take a good look at the web address. CNN will always be CNN.com / backslash. Also, make sure it ends with .com with nothing behind the com. One common site that is fake news is ABC.COM.CO See the CO at the end of com? Red flag. Also, while MSM may have ads, look at the quality of ads. If they look hinky, get out. If links to other stories have pictures and headlines that seem national Enquirer - ish, get out. Rule of thumb for me is that if something seems outlandish or shocking and I am uncertain of the site, I do a Google search. If no MSM are covering it and it's supposedly breaking news, I don't even bother reading the sites it comes up on because dollars to donuts, they are conspiracy sites.

It is interesting how the worst mass shooting in US history has all but disappeared from MSM. It's like they're not interested in the story anymore. No actual investigating on their own anymore, just running rehashed headlines and "No one knowwwwsssss".

Police were wrong to try fudging time they received first alert of trouble, and to do so 8 days after the event is appalling.
Time of alert of incident should be tattooed in every lE member's brain because its always significant because they need to calculate their response time and they are answerabe for that.
There happened to be police at the hotel at the time responding to a different unrelated incident as well- I think that info is in either lVReview or a mailonline
article
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...e-massacre-police-say/?utm_term=.346039cf74c4
This article states they did not know sG had been shot when they went investigating the mass shooting..
Its really messy

Agree. I'm still very disappointed in LE for the way they rushed out to do the "heroes" interview on 60 Minutes. That was wrong, way too interested in being celebrities when they should have focused on the investigation. At the time it seemed inappropriate, too soon, felt like a professional PR campaign. Someone should think about resigning over that.

I hope the FBI takes over the investigation.

I've noticed that too. I just hope it's not what I've seen in some past investigations that got dropped by msm- word
got out that it's much, much bigger than one man kills xx people. And msm are a little 'afraid' at this point.
The behind the scene people in Vegas are very, very powerful in many ways. If I were Campos or the maintenance guy,
I would pack up my family and disappear for some time.

I'd like to point out that they also receive backlash for not giving enough coverage to Puerto Rico, the wildfires, really important legislation, etc. Right now there is so much going on that is important that it's got to be tough to cover it all. Therefore, they must look at things like is there any new info on each of these topics, how much new info, etc.

And let me just add that if CNN doesn't cover the Weinstein scandal enough this week, conservative Twitter will go ballistic claiming it's because of picking political sides, and vice versa on coverage of Trump problems this week with liberals. So really, they are darned if they do and darned if they don't on some level.

Everyone had their pet issue. I remember when eastern Kentucky and Tennessee were on fire and only local news covered it. Some people were upset by lack of coverage. Later, Gatlinburg caught fire, but even with the popularity of that place it wasn't given any coverage until evacuation orders came.

My point is that it's all important to somebody and during times like these when we are dealing with multiple crises in this nation it's got to be hard to figure out what needs coverage for that day.

oh oh, if this is true that Campos is speaking publicly, then he must already know his job went poof, union is poof, which also explains a friend setting up a go-fund me acct (no more income from job).

Also explains why family/he hired security guard for home. Maybe he's not playing along w/ MB story and feels he needs protection? wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Agree, and I see it as kind of like messing with the mafia.

Things that I question or that still bother me- not adding up- doesn't make sense:

If FBI and local Sheriff are battling as reported, where is state of Nevada Atty. General or state of Nevada Law Enforcement like state NBI??

why has name of US Atty. Gen. Sessions name been inserted in squabble? Because he has already been contacted
to settle power play dispute w/ sheriff and FBI? did they skip over state Atty. Gen.???

Why did Sheriff offer info on "200 people saw SP ALONE prior to massacre" because based on how much info is being held back and sheriff starting to lose his credibility, makes me think maybe SP was seen with someone and this is
an 'offensive' move.

Sheriff, IMO, needs to back off and let an objective outside LE investigation take place. I just get too much coziness
with Sheriff and strip hotels/ espec. MB.

anyone else feeling these vibes?

Not caught up on thread. On my way out the door. Apologies if this has already been posted.

Mandalay Bay emails heartfelt statement to customers after Las Vegas mass shooting
'With you behind us, we know our best days are ahead'

The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino sent a heartfelt email to customers Monday morning, a week after a gunman opened fire from windows on the hotel's 32nd floor*killing 58 people at a music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.*

Here's the email, with subject line "Looking Forward To Welcoming You Back" ...

I get television coverage, but it's not like they only have 5 journalists and have to split them between stories... They can report on some things and investigate others at the same time...

No wonder Campos has guards. Plenty of nuts out there who, think,he is involved.

Wow, how utterly despicable. I hope LE will be successful in tracking who it was that set up the rogue CNN-dash website so they get their name in the headlines of real MSM.

There are always conspiracy theories after these type of cases. Always. Some people just won't accept anything other than a conspiracy theory.
People always seem to claim there were multiple shooters, and so on.
In this particular case, the two victims (security guard and maintenance worker) didn't appear to have done anything wrong, yet conspiracy theorists want to turn their life upside down.

It is despicable. Security guard is the victim who was shot. That some people make up stuff is despicable.
