Yes, many many others. In one of the articles about the alleged lack of cameras in hotel hallways in Vegas, it is said one of the reasons for not having them is that they don't work well in hallways, which is a ridiculous statement IMO.

-I don’t believe we can believe anything yet about any cameras-SG cameras-surveillance-body cams-elevators. Until and if we see it in the form of an exhibit there is nothing to rely on. In my opinion I’m counting on there being ample footage surrounding the truth. As in, I believe the MGM is completely covered in camera surveillance. Its critical for them and the likes for many reasons. The reason for their non committal and loose surveillance terminology that we are witnessing is for their selective *Case by Case* review. Like:

‘Mr. Smith reportedly tripped over the housekeeping cart when returning to his room and broke his leg” versus “Mr. Smith and his brother reportedly were having a heated argument in the hallway that turned physical. He is said to have suffered broken limbs.

Can you see the difference in these 2 illustrations?

At the *point of time* and need is when they decide if they ‘have’ surveillance and what type. And they choose from the many different options available to best fit THEIR advantage at that *point in time*

‘We have cams on these 10 floors spanning most of the hallway distance.
On the floors that are in this area, our cams are movement calibrated.
The top 5 floors have rotating surveillance.
The bottom floors have blurred cams for high roller privacy’

The questions you pose that can be answered, have been answered. Perhaps we need to put together a fact sheet and place it in the Media and Timelines thread so you and others can refer to it when you need to recall the answers.

It's obvious from the reports of the media frenzy and stalking by potentially dangerous alt/right stalkers that JC needed security services and, finally, needed to leave his home. The downside of all the CT chatter is that it stirs up hysteria among people who may already have anger and issues with mental instability.

Yes, MGM and local LE may be making things a little worse by not releasing video, etc., but the CT crowd will be just as hysterical regardless. And FBI never releases much of anything during an investigation unless they need the public's help in tracking down a suspect. But in a phone conversation, Santa confirmed the document was authentic. Listed under "equipment needed," is "hidden cams on the boat," and a "tripod and overt recorder near the bed, an obvious sex tape machine."

Among the props listed were a "condom jar, dildos, posters and paintings of naked women, fuzzy handcuffs" and a blindfold.

According to the document, O'Keefe was to record a video of the following script before Boudreau arrived: "My name is James. I work in video activism and journalism. I've been approached by CNN for an interview where I know what their angle is: they want to portray me and my friends as crazies, as non-journalists, as unprofessional and likely as homophobes, racists or bigots of some sort....

So its easy to see why anyone familiar with these kind of people are keeping their distance. They're unstable and possibly dangerous.

Just for clarification: I’m not literally asking the above questions. In my mind they are more than answered, over and over again. MGM could easily have afforded to take care of each of the casualties, ensure they receive the best of medical care and take care of all their relatives in comfort.. a gesture that would save them billions in litigation.. but a gesture of humanity primarily.

I agree tht there can be different sounds coming from different guns. We also know that he had up to 10 guns and shooting out two different windows.
My concern is that people are popping up in youtube giving thier take on the sounds. How do we verify the real ones from the fakes that may be out there with thier own Agenda? How can we verify that they are not manipulating the sounds?

The reason there aren't hallway cameras goes back to 'What Happens In Vegas Stays in Vegas'-----people go to Vegas to cheat on their spouses, hire escorts, gamble, drink, do drugs.

NO ONE wants video evidence of such shenanigans.

But that hotel was in downtown LA, Not Vegas.

People who go to party in Vegas, generally, do not want video evidence of who comes in and out of their rooms in the middle of the night.

I have been to Vegas several times and I always see rich people with a dozen or more pieces of luggage, stacking them up on the big gold carts, sometimes they need two carts.
That is a normal sight, everyday, in front of the big hotels in Vegas.

Then factor in that SP was not only wealthy, but was a regular "little whale" high roller who had been known to stay at casinos for weeks at a time while gambling.

The check in process for returning "whales", even small ones, in Las Vegas includes a review of the gambler's past activities, lengths of past stays, and favorite perks so that all needed arrangements can be ready.

Though SP's level of whale status would not have warranted full royal treatment at Mandalay Bay, I bet they had his computer file pulled and his perks ready at check in. As a result, his penchant for extended stays would have been known by the desk manager and extra luggage probably expected.

-Great point! Those are typically retained in a file for returning VIP guest. It would allow for on-going customized guest preferences based on their history. Can be as keen as “no use of scented anything to clean the room based on the guest profiled request”.
