Nor have we ever heard from on single person that was a guest on that floor -- know why imo the floor was empty

The company got some nice money for having this "operation" on their property across from Janet air for years moo

For a cooperate giant they sure have been so concerned and helpful for a rent a security guard with no credentials as required by law ......

hummmmmmmmmmmm

The reason there aren't hallway cameras goes back to 'What Happens In Vegas Stays in Vegas'-----people go to Vegas to cheat on their spouses, hire escorts, gamble, drink, do drugs.

NO ONE wants video evidence of such shenanigans.

I can speak of AC surveillance knowledge first hand; without hallway hotel surveillance, you'd have homeless begging, prostitutes hanging around & drug dealings abound outside every hotel room.

Common sense....even if you didn't have firsthand, insider knowledge

-Agree. They are there, and some are not visible to the eye. They are there for the hotels liability. MB is not going to scale back the budget or take a risk. Its in the details of the wording. They don’t advertise cameras in the hallway for a few reasons. I think the landscape of this now though will change a bit.

-I’m curious about the response from a reservation agent might be to a would be guest calling for possible reservations and inquiring about detailed surveillance.

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
[…]
"Thirty-seven high-definition, full-pan-tilt zoom cameras up and down the Strip…
[…]
. . . $300,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security
[…]
Police admit with the new angles they could look into many Strip hotel rooms.
But unless there's an immediate crime occurring, Duvall said that won't be tolerated.
[…]
Thirty-six of the 37 cameras are situated at the following locations:
· "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign RTC pole
· Russell Road, center median
· El Diablo Avenue/Four Seasons Drive, north center median
· Mandalay Bay Road, south-center median
· Mandalay Bay Road, northeast corner
[…]

Lol! No worries.....I don't even know about the aria thingy.....must've missed it.?
I rarely comment lately but I'll stand firm on my knowledge of casino operations.

I haven’t seen any sources that say there are cameras in every casinos hotel hallways, some maybe not visible. Everything I’ve seen and posted states the opposite for almost all of the resorts.

I didn't **stay** in a casino as a guest

Do you think someone can truly make millions playing a video gambling machine ??

Whatever there called -- were not talking black jack or whatever!!

Exactly. That is why I cannot figure out how he could of used MD's card. Maybe he just had it with him but never used it.

Or maybe they broke rules for him -- to allow him to do what he needed to do

There are progressive slots that pay millions for the jackpots. Even on small denomination machines. I do believe you have to play the max to win the jackpot. Also, I believe these progressive machines cover more than one establishment. Maybe someone can explain it better than me.

Idk where you stay, but In the borgata, which recently became part Mlife, you can bet you need to show your room card before you can access the guest elevators.

He had employee ID -- remember in the beginning they got it all wrong and reported for a week that she was employed there

I would assume employee badges are coded to allow entry into specfic areas

For some reason they were fine with him utilizing staff routes throughout the resort .

Servers passes I assume allow access to some areas while prohibiting access to other areas

I would think housekeeping has there own

Bell men specific areas based on responsibilities

I would think the broadest access might be someone who works in

hotel security

OR

maintenance

Nice find.......time to release the footage!! I doubt we’ll see it, but it sure would be great.

With his attire and daily grooming you would think he might have been called in a couple of times roaming around the place !!

Attendees were required to buy tickets for the Route 91 Harvest Festival so although it was outdoors, common for outdoor concerts, I've read somewhere there was chain-link fenced surrounding the parameter. Two exits iirc. Several stories have people helping each other to scramble over the fence to flee until a truck mowed a portion of the fence down in order to provide a quicker way to help people to get out.

As far as the streets, someone mentioned some were barricaded. But it wouldn't be unusual to not allow vehicle traffic in any streets directly bordering the festival, although I'm just guessing that's the reason.

From the article: "A spokesperson at the UMC Quick Care, which has eight locations throughout the Las Vegas area, told Fox News on Monday that they had "heard nothing" about Campos visiting them."

Typically, doctor's offices cannot tell random people if you have been a patient because of HIPAA laws. My mother could not even tell me if a friend visited the quick care clinic she worked at and asked her to tell me hello.

-More from the above article, thank you vmmking.

“A spokesperson at the UMC Quick Care, which has eight locations throughout the Las Vegas area, told Fox News on Monday that they had "HEARD NOTHING” about Campos visiting them.

*Multiple requests from Fox News for SPFPA to comment on the matter were not returned Monday* Simple human professional courtesy can be as little as responding to Fox with “we apologize for the inconvenience, please be patient as we continue to make progress”. Done!

“Hickey said Campos had requested to go public and wanted to tell his story and move on from the Oct. 1 shooting investigation. Police say he was shot just before the crazed gunman killed 58 at music festival on the Las Vegas Strip – though the sequence of events is still in dispute.

Campos was last photographed in public on Oct. 10, accepting an “SPFPA Hero Award” for bravery in the line of duty, while dining with Hickey and others at a high-end Vegas steakhouse. *But soon afterward* investigators said that the security guard was shot before the massacre, raising questions about whether the hotel did enough to prevent the bloodshed.

Hickey has said that before he vanished, Campus was looking forward to telling his side of the story”

-2 things that stand out here as odd in my opinion:

Fox has made multiple request to SPFPA and have not heard back. That is more than strange.

It was *after the award and dining at ‘a high end vegas steak house* that it was said Campos was shot before the massacre.

Been having documentaries on Los Vegas on in background -- cities criminal background is interesting !!

On this one at around 4200 they are discussing how the casino owners began using many many FBI resources -- there is a lot of money stuff that goes on -- so they started using FBI folks -- this started quite a while back

First of all, there is no "res" where I live. I assume you mean reservation. One of our casino/hotels is the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The surveillance cameras in the hotel hallways are not installed to protect the hotel rooms, they are there for security for guests. Same for the surveillance cameras outside and around the hotels and casinos...for the guest's protection. The resorts all have huge Player's Clubs which track what and how much $$ the guests are playing, as well as what their preferred comps are. Rooms as comped as well as food & beverage, free game play, etc. And yes, the bulk of our profits come from electronic games on the casino floors.

Are these the ones he became a millionaire off of !!

Ha!
