Has it been confirmed that BS actually sought help for her violent, homicidal feelings? I'm not willing to take her word at this point. I'm not seeing how the father or the co-worker are in anyway responsible even if it turns out they did have a relationship. The usual reaction to such a situation is a breakup, not a razor blade attack or the murder of a beautiful, innocent girl. The normal reaction when a terrible crime like is committed is to think there must be "something wrong" with the perpetrator. Well of course there is something wrong with her, but it may be as simple as that "something wrong" being that she is evil and soulless. All MOO.

I think we only have her word for that and given medical privacy laws I doubt we will get anything else before trial unless her attorney chooses to release those records. I will say that if she is telling the truth about that visit then her doctor bears some responsibility for this tragedy. (S)He had the power to force help on her if she admitted to wanting herself or others. Hell, we are being told she asked for help which would have made the process even easier.

I'm not blaming the dad or the friend. Sure they're clods and I wouldn't want either as a BFF but they aren't responsible for the murder of a beautiful young girl. The dad will spend the rest of his life knowing that a woman he brought into his child's life took her life in anger at him. The friend will likely live the rest of her life with scars and nightmares as well. I won't cry any tears over those things but I wish them no harm or furthering suffering.

I knew we heard early on that Dad lived out of state but I assumed it had to be a reporting error. How if he lived in another state and stayed with his fiancé when he was in LV did he have time or opportunity to cheat with the first victim?

Apparently there was a birthday party thrown (maybe by the victim?) in November to celebrate Brenda's birthday. Philip and the woman got close at that time.

I'm still finding a ton of media, and I am so glad there is coverage for this case. Nationwide too.

She was so precious. Her sister has several pictures of her, Jade and their mom on her Twitter & Instagram. They really seemed to share a strong bond. I can't imagine their pain. Her sister has a young baby of her own. I bet Jade was a great aunt.

It is being reported that BS was engaged to dad and that he may have cheated on her with the woman she attacked at the casino. I really should have included this in the above post but all I meant was IF (and that is a big if since reporting is spotty at best right now) that is true then the dad and the friend are not people I'd want as a BFF. BS was entitled to be very angry with them if they did betray her in that way but she wasn't entitled to attack her "friend" with freaking razor blades and she sure as heck wasn't entitled to harm precious Jade.

I've said some questionable things in this thread, especially early on but the blame here rests squarely on the shoulders of BS. I reserve the right to amend that statement if it turns out she honestly did speak with a doctor as reported.

I agree! IIRC, Jade's Grandfather said the one picture looked just like where she was found (paraphrasing here).

I wonder if sweet little Jade had a premonition of sorts (?)

I did a google news search and the only source I can find regarding this is Jade's grandfather saying Wilson might have thought her fiance had become romantically involved with Rhone. I haven't been able to find any official source.

So it's possible that all this stemmed from some unfounded suspicion of Wilson's. Not that it would make anything better if the suspicion was correct.

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- According to a police report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Brenda Stokes Wilson was charged with the murder of 10-year-old Jade Morris after DNA from bloody clothing in her apartment was matched to the mising girl.

This morning Brenda Stokes Wilson was in court with her attorney Tony Liker. Tony Liker has represented her family on a car crash case.

The judge read the new murder charges, revoked bail.

Tony Liker said Jade's parents are suspects. That BSW is innocent. (yes, seriousy) Police reports prove that to be a lie.

(Paternal) Grandma Brenda Morris told a reporter that BSW has been telling her friends and coworkers how much she despised Jade. Premeditaion? Probably.
