Regarding vehicle location, I still lean towards between Lowes and the Polyglas business (closed on weekends). I did find a homeless camp near the cemetery across the highway. If that's the direction that the suspect appeared, from the homeless camp, then this might be his route.

Thank you to Gray Hughes for info about the evidence search on March 15.

Is the suspect so familiar with the area that he knows where the homeless camp is and parks his vehicle out of sight but arrives from the direction of the homeless camp to misdirect police?

Referencing the livestream GH youtube, the suspect is described as arriving from the direction of the homeless camp. He circled the parking lot and then he approached her car from behind. That's linked upthread somewhere.

If we knew which direction her vehicle was pointed, we would know from which direction he approached her.

So the sister said the car was found by a Sherman Williams factory in an industrial area.

Yes, I cannot find it at this moment, but actual pic of the car at the location, with crime scene tape around it, has been posted here a couple days ago. It was just off to the right side of Sherwin Williams, parked near the road, completely in the open.

I may be wrong, but with all we have learned about the truck by now, if LE has determined that it was stolen, I think they would have released that information. I think the fact that they have not said anything about any matching truck having been reported stolen , leads me to believe they know who it belongs to. JMO

Here’s pics of where her car was found. Posted a couple days ago, but just in case you can’t find them back in the threads.

Thank you!! I knew I had seen it, and thought I had saved it, but couldn't find it. I think I am getting to that age where you go into the kitchen to get something, and when you get there, you forget why you went!

Another question that needs an answer is: what reasons do people have to be driving around at 5AM if it's not work related? Does he spend time at the nearby casino? Does he have a shift that starts at 6 PM and ends at 4 AM? Does he not work on Saturday, but he is expected to be home for supper?

I can't quite understand all the meticulous planning, and then leaving her car on the side of the road within 2 hours of sunset. If he had waited until 6:15 PM, it would have been too dark to get a good image of his truck. The colour would be described as dark, possibly grey, black, or dark blue. By leaving her car there in daylight, we know more about his truck than he wants us to know.

That leaves me with the question: did he have to be somewhere at 6 PM?

That's a good thought. Or--brainstorming--maybe it was a place where his vehicle could be expected to be found during the day, and nothing unusual about it driving away at the end of the day? Which would kind of imply that he might work at or be connected to SW.

Haha don’t worry, I got you! Earlier I thought I lost my phone and was looking for it…..as I was holding it in my hand.

Well, it's too late to push all the toothpaste back in the tube, but True Crime Misfits was NOT an approved source. We will let it stand this time rather than go back 20 pages to remove all the info and responses. When in doubt, use the Report feature to ask a Mod or Admin BEFORE posting links to miscellaneous social media Missing groups. Not all of them are allowed.

The Rules clearly state that an approved group support page is "usually a page run by family" meaning a page where a family member or known friend is an Admin or at least a Moderator of the page. Just because a family member makes the occasional post on the page does not mean it is a WS approved page.

Also a reminder that comments by anyone other than an Admin of an approved group support page are not allowed to be linked, referred to or discussed. You may direct members to an interesting comment on the approved page with something like "check out post by ABC at 2:00 pm" or whatever, but the comment itself may not be discussed further.

Because Tamara is Naomi's sister, we are allowing her FB page because it is obviously dedicated to finding Naomi. That approved page is "Help Us Find Naomi Irion"

And because Tamara also has a TikTok video related to Naomi's disappearance we are approving that as a source. This is Tamara's TikTok that was linked upthread by another member.

In future, all we ask is that you ask before posting !! It's really that simple.

Not sure why I want to understand exactly how the suspect approached Naomi's vehicle, but I think it helps me understand the suspect.

The photos that were released first show the suspect walking away from the camera in the direction of B to C (see illustration). The video then shows the suspect emerging from C after a car pulls in and shines lights on him. I'm curious at what time he was first seen on CCTV.

Was he standing there, in the dark, watching Naomi's car out of sight of other vehicles? He then walks slowly past the parked cars, stalls by the blue car on the end, then walks towards the camera, stops, turns around and looks at Naomi's car again.

Imagine what he must have been thinking? Was he fighting the urge at the same time realizing that he'd been carefully planning this step by step for some time so now was the perfect opportunity? Everything lined up for him, including parking his truck out of sight?

I'm guessing that, from where we see him standing at the end of the video, he then crosses the parking lot and approaches Naomi's car from behind, point D - although I'm not sure which direction her vehicle faced.

Red lines are suspects possible path based on photos and video.

Despite watching the video many times your post gave me the chills. How do you do it?!

His truck might have been parked behind Lowes and behind Polyglas - between the two buildings. Polyglas is closed on weekends. His truck wouldn't attract any attention there except for the car that was found at Sherwin-Williams. There's no licence plate, so he was partially successful in obscuring his identity. He sure screwed up driving home after believing that he was free and clear - driving right past Sherwin-Williams cameras.

Please note that every map I make is about trying to figure it out. In this case, the direction of the truck - I wonder whether he lives in Fallon or Lovelock. Isn't there a military base in the area as well?

'It ruined me': Brother of missing Fernley woman recounts watching 'sinister' abduction

A less than 2 year old car? I’d either guess it’s stolen, or that the suspect isn’t homeless, despite where he was coming from.

Given the nature of this case, the possibility of the truck also being stolen isn’t terribly unlikely.

MOO of course

Given the year of the truck, less than 36 months old, the owner registered it for warranty. There's a record of this truck owner - just a matter of time until he is found.
