I do not know if this has been posted yet or not.
Eight years ago, Damon Garrow put his 4-year-old daughter in a moving van and kissed her and his girlfriend goodbye. The mother and daughter were moving to Nevada. They sought a better life than a teenaged Garrow could provide.
Garrow read in the New Hampshire Union Leader that his daughter was brutally slain. Shot multiple times, Lexis Kaye Roberts, 12, was discovered by hunters outside of Harrisonburg, La., in early October.
The girl's mother -- Manchester native Suellen Roberts, 31 -- has been missing since early September. The FBI is seeking her boyfriend, Thomas Steven Sanders, 53, on a charge of kidnapping Lexis.
It was the first Garrow heard of the case.

Thomas Sanders (kidnapping suspect) UPDATE: Getting word from a source early this morning that Sanders was arrested at a Mississippi truck stop. Authorities also seized the vehicle he was traveling in… more to come on this case…

Does that break anyone else's heart like it does mine? I think I will take the day off tomorrow, WS has been a bit hard on the heart the last few days.
 
I fear there may be many more victims of this freak. I hope he reveals where Suellen is. I worry she may never be found if he doesn't.
 
It's early for me but I thought I just heard he has been arressted in Mississippi....has anyone else heard this?
I am going to look for a link.
 
I wonder if this maniac will let everyone know where Suellen might be found.

The drifter arrested in the kidnapping of a 12-year-old girl found dead in Louisiana is cooperating with authorities, who are trying to find the girl's missing mother, according to media reports.



Sanders is being cooperative, Catahoula Parish Sheriff James Kelly told the AP today. He was unarmed when he was arrested and didn't resist.
 
JACKSON (AP) — On paper he was deceased, legally declared dead 16 years ago. In reality, Thomas Steven Sanders had lived openly for years without anyone noticing that fact — until his weekend arrest on suspicion of kidnapping a Las Vegas girl who recently turned up dead.

Sanders was arrested Sunday at a Gulfport, Miss. truck stop after a massive nationwide manhunt and charged with kidnapping 12-year-old Lexis Roberts, whose body was found last month in Louisiana, the FBI said. The girl's mother, 31-year-old Suellen Roberts is missing and feared dead in a bizarre case that leaves many wondering how a legally dead man can go unnoticed for so long — even after being arrested in several states under his real name.

Authorities say the answer is pretty simple, really. There's no national death database in the United States, said James Kelly, sheriff of Catahoula Parish in central Louisiana where the girl's skeleton was found by hunters in October.

If Sanders only does one good thing in his life ... He needs to tell LE where to find Suellen. I'm thankful he is cooperating with LE.

I get the feeling by the words used in the news story that he is a coward. When faced with men pointing a gun at HIM he melted. I hope Suellen and Lexis' family and loved ones feel some sense of relief at his arrest. My heart goes out to them.
 
Not sure if the information in this video is new or not. I have read most of the posts in this thread but not all of them.

This video has an over view of the case including a photo of Lexis that I had not seen before and at the very end of the clip you can see the video of a very heavy Sanders buying bullets at a LV walmart:

He looks alot different in the video than he does in the wanted photos that we have seen.
 
I think they may have found Suellen but I can't log into the story as I can't remember my password...
