Because she knew he could be violent but she may have thought she could talk some sense into him.

Now that there are two scenes where bullet casings were found it shows why they came back and tried to hide their vehicle so he wouldn't see it.

I think he went ballistic with rage.
Nothing helps someone to talk some sense into someone else like a loaded gun. They came back to hide their vehicle? They knew him, he knew them. He knew where they lived. How was hiding their vehicle going to accomplish anything?

We probably have a difference of opinion.
Just my thoughts, I think if it was all innocence and light, the family would have told the truth from the beginning.
Their mom was killed. Why in the world would they deliberately withhold relevant information from the police?
I think probably because they had a reason to.

It is certainly ok to disagree.:)

I am not sure what you mean 'all innocence'?

You mean her seeing him in the park and being nice to him?

I cant answer for 'them.'

By making him think they didn't return back to their home. I think he shot at them before he got to their home and probably threatened to kill them.

Her daughter was left alone in that home when she and her son with a weapon went looking for the suspect. Doesn't sound she was that concerned about the suspect coming to the home when she and her son went looking for him, does it?

Now the entire '********' plea for money seems downright deceitful in what was posted, almost to the point of fraud imo.

And what about offering the car for the information leading to the arrest?

Maybe she was very concerned and that is why she went back to look for him trying to prevent him from coming there and she found his vehicle didn't she?

Aye jjenny! So much deceit. Why would Robert Meyers draw the media into this, then keep his family in the limelight? Seems they would want to keep very quiet. Unless he is trying to stay in front of the story and spin it their way.

I think this family was scared to turn him in so they offered up something very valuable thinking someone else would do it.

That doesn't make any sense to me. If they wanted him arrested, all they had to do is tell the police who he was.

I think once they knew he had crossed over to murder they were scared to out him. He lived just a block away and he could come in the middle of the night and murder them all or burn their house down.

JMO

Maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty sxure that if I knew a murderer lived a block away and might come in the middle of the night to murder me or burn my house down I'm pretty sure I WOULD TELL THE POLICE WHERE THE WANTED MURDERER LIVED.

But, like I said, maybe it's just me.

No, not just you.

I agree with you, friendly discussion is a good thing. :)

My thinking is this:
And this is JMO only... if the reason(s) she was in the park were legal, above board and honorable, then the family should have give the police the whole story from the start. The only reason I can see that might compel someone to withhold vital information is that they are afraid they will be caught in something. Their mom was killed. That is a huge deal. You would think they'd be all in with assisting.

Again, JMO...to me, the way the family has opted to give the police half truths and or teeny bits and pieces of the truth sprinkled in with relevant omissions... sort of looks like something isn't all innocent in this case.

It's not just you! Any normal person who'd had a loved one killed and knew where the killer was, would be breaking a leg to tell LE. This is the fishiest case I have seen in a long, long time. And I am still not convinced that EN and whatever posse he was with were the instigators.

I hope it is not against the rules to say this (if so please let me know and I will delete) but EN's mom seems to have a pretty solid job with the high-end Wynn casino -- a specialized, professional job in the finance department. Given her experience level and job history a six-figure salary would not be surprising at all. So why would TM be needing to give EN money? (I realize not all highly paid parents dole out lots of dollars willy-nilly to their kids, but my point is, his mom seems very capable of taking care of his basic needs. If she chose not to provide spending money, why would anyone outside the family take it upon herself to circumvent that and provide money to a rather wayward kid? That would seem to be very meddling and frankly, immature.

Very strange.

Where is the daughter? She should be full of information since she was there when this started, iirc. The mom was driving and a car passed at a high rate of speed (according to what was said early on) and she blew the horn. She should be able to fill in important information. jmo idk
