In the two first lines, we can read "KR".



This common point made me think about searching a company with "K.R" in its name. The company had to have branches all over the Canada.
On this Wikipedia page, letter K : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_companies_of_Canada#K

The likeliest company IMO is Kruger Inc.

By searching on their website, Careers, bingo !
They have sites at :
Vancouver (BC)
Scarborough (ON)
Sherbrooke (QC)
Regina (SK)

So, it could had been Kruger,
Regina branch
Bas St Laurent (QC) branch
Scarborough (ON) or Sherbrooke (QC) branch

Maybe you got on to something.... I'm looking into it right now.... if ever the CEO of the company I wrote the email to would answer our questions about the telephone number thing.....grrrr... I read somewhere investigators thought that it could be internal numbers of an airport.... I also did read something relating to Kruger...(maybe another company with the same name, who is into moving stuff, shipping?) BTW Kruger is one of the most rich family's in Canada...

Although first line to me (and I decipher crappy hand writing a lot in construction and my best friend used to write chicken scratch) it reads an abbreviation for Saskatchewan Phone.

I'm still not sure about the phone nr. thing.. on the blue boy hotel note found in her pocket there is a phone number, and is seems to me already an number without letters: 321-6611.

I really think in 1983 every letter-numbers phone number was already transported to digits only... I remembered one thing... when my mother had died and I started to use her coat...I found things in her pockets from long before she died...grocery list, receipts, stuff like that....long shot....

It's such a shame that there are no more pictures of Ms. Manial. Could help a lot to get a better overall picture about a possible match. As for now.. I don't see it. But also we have to keep our eyes open....

Several cases i also wondered if a uid person had been transgendered, in due time this will be something given greater consideration when searching for identity, imo. it may help especially with older cases.

Pondering...could she be Patricia Leammerhirt (nee Sam) there is a thread of her on WS. Here you find the Namus file https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/9541/23?current_page=photos Probably the story doesn't add up, because she is thought to be killed and buried by her husband but her body is never found after searching the former property. Can't figure out the European/Canada connection.... checked the name but it is not typical for this regions.

Also there is a new missing case added to the Dutch missing files, but although the woman has some similarities it would be so far fetched, because of the background story and the time between missing and found.... add it here anyway, for you to take a look at (or maybe for criss-cross ideas and knowing we checked it)
