While I am happy to see they finally arrested someone- I am still saddened that it is Remy... I guess part of me is still in disbelief or was clinging to something other than what my gut was telling me - but my heart goes out to the children to lose their mother and now their father - especially under these circumstances. I am anxious to hear the COD and other info from the LE. Now that he is arrested, will they share that information or not until he goes to trial etc.?

I have always thought the US doesn't allow anyone to have dual citizenship. Once you become an American citizen, wouldn't you have to give up any other citizenship you had to any other country? I would guess he wouldn't be able to become a citizen of any other country while he is a citizen of the US either, legally? Does this make sense? I know anything is possible, but it would seem that being a US citizen would throw up red flags when trying to enter another country as a citizen of another country with an US passport or the enhanced driver's license. Am I missing something, other that he may think he could pull this off? GR hasn't done anything to worry me about him being some mastermind criminal - quite the opposite really - what am I missing?

Oh yes, quite a few people have dual citizenship with the US and some other country. Especially the case with individuals whose parent's have other nationalities, or with those born abroad to American parents. You can do this, but there's some restrictions -- my college roommate had dual citizenship (US and Brazil), but as I recall, to be able to vote in the US, she had to renounce her Brazilian citizenship.

I know of those with dual citizenship who apply for visas to countries not friendly to the US under their other passport, and that country has no knowlege that they are, in fact, also a US citizen.

I just set up a thread for Greg Staudinger -- a young seminary student in Louisville, Kentucky, who has now been missing since Sunday. Attended church that morning, seemed fine to everyone, was scheduled to work at Starbucks in the evening, headed out on his bike that afternoon, and hasn't been seen since. Wallet and car left in his apartment. No activity on his ATM.

If you guys wouldn't mind sharing this, especially if you have friends or family in Kentucky, I would greatly appreciate it.

Small town upstate NY can be pretty conservative and a jury might not think "honesty" and "integrity" are the key words for a woman in an adulterous affair that leads to murder.

I believe it is. Her name maybe came up in an early article when Jennifer was still missing, but in connection with being Jennifer's friend, I think, rather in connection to GR.

If she is right and GR is found innocent, I wish her all the luck in the world, because in my opinion she will need it.

I guess husband has now become yet another bit of collateral damage. It's such a shame.

Not sure.. but it's the first time I've seen the 'B' part of her name mentioned.

I have nothing to say on the subject of that particular witness' "integrity".
