This video has a recent interview with the witness GC (at about 01:05). He seems to keep backtracking on his story. I wonder if he feels threatened now. One article I remember almost implied he is suspect. I think reporters and others have frightened him. And you wonder why people don't want to come forward?

I don't think it is possible to separate SG from the Long Island serial killer stories. People investigating the bodies found are still looking for Shannan as part of their search. IMO it would cause more confusion to separate them and we would have to go back and forth between the threads, there would be a lot of duplicate information.

When I looked at the pics of the Li and AC victims in this link that Seaslug posted, I suddenly realized how much the AC victims resemble the LI victims if the AC victims were 10-20 years older than the LI victims.

My apologies for not remembering all the AC victims names..please bear with me as i try to explain....I mean not disrespect to the victims at all.

Row 1, Column A.......victim of AC killer, very young appearence in photo. heavier appearance in photos
Row 3, Column B.......Megan Waterman, very youthful appearance in photos but heavier stats than other Li victims.

Row 1, Column C.......victim of AC killer. Bears a resemblence to Melissa B. but older.
Row 2, Column A.......Melissa B. bears a striking resemblence to this AC victim.

Row 2, column B.........AC vicitim who bears a sticking resemblence to Maureen Barnes
Row 3, column A..........LI victim, Maureen Barnes.

Row 2, column C..........AC victim Kim Raffo who departed LI for AC, her body was discovered in AC the following day. (IIRC?)
Row 3, Column C.........LI victim Amber Costello. IDK I may be grasping straws here but am I the only one who sees some similarites here?

but what is that supposed to mean? It doesn't appear she was trying to escape the life by going to meet a john...or that trying to escape the life had anything to do with her being killed? the comment seems to say that because she was trying to get out of the escort business someone killed her...which would point to someone else in the business who was in control...if that was the case why not kill her somewhere privately...instead of during a party? was this comment a write in comment or a call in guest that we know for sure was SG's mom? This was a write in comment. It says Guest and in her comment she claims to be, but of course we can't be sure. Sorry the link doesn't work, I'm not having a problem with it, but not sure how to fix for you...

I now feel like this is a regular john who grooms these girls for a little while...maybe not everytime, but I feel Shannan maybe had a past situation with this person and he was stalking her....maybe the only coincidence is the location he got her in...I mean these girls were working the area..coming into town during the high season or having regular clients in various nearby communities...

he was on to her and maybe following her around for a bit...

maybe she didn't want to be out there to begin with...

I am Shannan's mother. A lot of what was on Nancy Grace tonight was VERY WRONG from the length of the 991, a ritualistic killing, to having no suspect. I and I repeat - I revieled the 911 call in the first place channel 7 news. I know who she was running from, and so do the police. With much respect for Shannan's family, perhaps SG told her mother and others she wanted to get out and maybe she really did, but maybe hadn't found the strength to actually do that. It must be hard for this mother to hear and read the word Prostitute associated with SG and how it is put out in the media. Goodness knows if I were in her shoes I know I would just be furious with cops, media and heart broken at the same time. I sure hope this mother gets answers, respect. SG was a person and I'm willing to bet this warm mother is wanting everyone to not forget that aspect. MOO

I doubt anyone took off on foot in that area.. In order to get to the mainland area you need to cross the Robert Moses bridge or take the parkways that are to the west.. Very long walk in both directions.

i also think the fact that a ligature was found might also point to the killer being in a hurry and feeling nervous...perhaps even killing the poor victim in his vehicle and dumping quickly. it would seem that if the SK was careful he would have taken the ligature off since it appears the SK was diligent in removing other items of identification such as jewelry etc.

LE certainly seems convinced that they will find Shannan out there, which causes one to think they are convinced she is connected to the other bodies.

I cannot find which victim had the ligature.

I would really like to know which one had it.

What if they are so convinced of Shannan's connection because they found something on one of the bodies to connect her to them?

I've certainly considered the possibility that SG was high on drugs, passed out somewhere, and either died of OD or exposure. She did, according to family, leave JB's without her jacket. But the average temps for LI in April are HIGH: 58 Degrees, LOW: 40 Degrees

But when it's wet.... I got hypothermia at Ft. Polk, LA in June training in the Army. So it IS very possible. I learned real fast not to suck it up after that incident. It was not very fun. loool

Did you listen to the podcast? this info wasn't months later, it was days later. His story stinks to high heaven. He will hire a lawyer soon.

Is that a known fact? That would make things alot diffrent. So far it is speculation. It would be great if he was, that is the type of slip up SK's make and get caught. But until then I will stick to the facts and research further based on what has been released. I do write "alot" a lot. loool
