Is that a known fact? That would make things alot diffrent. So far it is speculation. It would be great if he was, that is the type of slip up SK's make and get caught. But until then I will stick to the facts and research further based on what has been released. I do write "alot" a lot. loool

Two women..one a prostitute, found dead in a wooded area in North Pensacola. Both bodies found in same area at same time. Are the murders related? Is a serial killer targeting prostitutes?

Investigators aren't releasing a lot of information on a recent double murder but News 5 has learned one of the victims was a known prostitute. The bodies of 19-year old Debra Jones and 25-year old Jamie Broxson were found in a wooded area off Nine Mile Road earlier this week. One of the bodies had been there for at least seven days.


Because the bodies were found in the same area at the same time, we asked sheriff's investigators if the murders were related and if they were possibly dealing with a serial killer. Deputies would not comment.


News 5 talked to a woman who says she's a prostitute and knew Broxson. The woman did not want to be identified but says Broxson turned tricks and walked streets in one of Pensacola's most dangerous neighborhoods. The woman believes Broxson, a mother of two, was murdered by one of her "Johns."

Oh That would be great if you could find it Susan! I recall reading that SG met her client somewhere who then drove her to his house. I wonder if the driver followed them to the neighborhood entrance where he waited. this could be why JB allegedly stated that she was not what he expected from her ad (or something like that).

Hi WM...and everyone. I may not be able to find the link if it was on Newsday...although I remember reading the whole article. Before a few days ago I couldn't get Newdays up at all (w/o paying).

But I found this, written by Shutterfly answering Minazoe December 18. This is exactly what I remember...JB originally said she was only there 45 minutes. Here is the post from December...gotta go but will keep looking when I get home.

I agree that it's very possible Shannan Gilbert has no link at all to the four bodies on the Parkway. But nonetheless, this poor girl is indirectly responsible for the fact that the others were found. I also agree that her disappearance could have been a "pimp thing." But what gets me is this; I'd almost bet the farm I saw reference in one article where JB stated Shannan was at his house for something like 45 minutes. In another article, that was in fact posted here, Shannan's driver states that JB called him THREE HOURS later, and that she was freaking and refusing to leave. I'll have to track down that 45 minute reference for us. Proximity is what gets me. It's just really difficult for me to accept, in an area like this, that four bodies and a missing woman, in the span of little more than a mile, is coincidence.

I also believe it's entirely possible that Shannan did have a bipolar episode of some sort and ran off incoherent. The same thing happened to Sarah Rogers. She got out of her car on the highway, in Maine I think or New Hampshire, ran off in the snow, and they found the poor girl's body days (or maybe weeks) later. But if that's the case here, then where is Shannan? I don't recall GC saying that he saw Shannan get into a vehicle at all. He said he saw an SUV coming down the road and that the guy in it said he was "looking for a woman from a party who had gotten upset."

I keep looking at the map, and after reading the description given of the "tracing Shannan's steps" from the printed copy of Newsday...Shannan was last seen headed south on Galley East Rd. You run out of road if you keep going in that direction, pretty quickly....and next thing you know, in the dark, you'd wind up in the water.

My apologies to Shannan's family...I just think they don't know...or the trail leads them nowhere... or they have a first name...or it's not clear...because the media seems to be working hard to draw him out...

This isn't neccessarily true. Police sometimes know definately who a killer is. But they can't arrest them if they don't have the evidence to back it up. Enough evidence to take to court in a trial. And a name given to them by a person who disappeared isn't enough for an arrest. That isn't even enough proof to name them as a suspect. After all, if the police named them as a suspect, all the suspect has to do is say "we had a dispute and she has a thing against me, so she accuses me." "then she takes off."

This is why murder cases are so very complex.

I have heard a lot of rumors (everyone knows someone who knows someone in LE) but what you have written, I have not heard.

Hi Guys - just jumping in with a few reminders.

JB is sleuthable in regards to what has come out in MSM and because he was the last person, besides the driver to see SG. He is not a POI/suspect at this point, so he is NOT wide open. All sleuthing/posting has to be connected to what MSM and LE have told us.

I don't know who this "ryder" guy is - but he is NOT sleuthable. Several posts have been made and it appears no one is even sure that he is the right person. We never post about a person until we are sure we have the right one. AND we don't post about them if they are not in the MSM or named by LE.

LE in this case has done an incredible job of preventing leaks in their case and controlling the information they want released. We have almost no facts.

The bodies found in march and april were skeletonized, and had roots growing through the vertebrae. ( link ) which is why LE stated the second set of remains were much older than the ones found in December.

Speaking to the New York Post about the bones found on Monday, a source close to the investigation said: 'These [bones] are so old that roots were growing around the vertebrae and the skull.'​

I still question that the SK is holding his victims for any period of time. Esp since there are no reports of mutilations and the reports of skeletonization appears to be regarding the second set of remains.

My feeling is that the bodies of which you speak do not belong to the LI Serial Killer.

This SK, he's no out of work landscaper. He is no "drifter." He is a guy who has such an huge ego, so cocky, so self confident--that he drove up and picked ALC up from her house--SOMEHOW CONVINCING HER TO NOT TAKE A CELL PHONE on an OUTCALL---never to be seen again. What kind of smooth talking must he have done to get her guard down like that? I'd also like to know HOW JB got SG to travel from NJ to Oak Beach--not a short trip, and not an easy trip.

Frankly, I think they both knew the john, and were with him previously. ALC wasn't afraid to leave without her cell, and SG was OK with arriving in the middle of nowhere at 2AM...Why? Because they KNEW him, they trusted him. He groomed them, and then he killed them. Melissa Barthelemy left the Hauppauge hotel at 1:30 am after her pimp got a call--you know what the caller said? The same thing he told ALCs pimp.."I'm up the block, tell her to come out" The Hauppauge hotel is a known hotel for escorts to host Incalls--buy yet there she was going on an outcall, alone.

He is smart, slick, smooth, good looking, cocky, more of a Ted Bundy than a Joel Rifkin. He's from the area for sure. He's sadistic, he's very tech savvy, he's a convincing liar and I can't emphasize this enough--a very good talker, I think he comes across as many classes above the pimps/escorts--almost impressive to them, a real high roller. The guy who spends time in the champagne room with private dances, throwing cash around. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in the "industry"--making *advertiser censored* or running strip clubs. A player--a kingpin of sorts. He must have "dirt" on some of these drivers/pimps--because I don't think they are all being truthful, WHY? I think they're scared they might disappear too.

Hey guys, this may sound stupid but I'll ask it anyway. Do we have "official" LE briefs? Not CNN or other MM. I know LE has been holding the cards close but when they have a Press release do they give the minutes of the brief or it's just open Mic? I'm just curious.
