I wish that the autopsy could be observed by an objective party, FBI or whoever.

I become more skeptical of this bunch in OB and Suffolk county as each day passes. Good ole boy network is what comes to my mind.

According to Fluke Coletti had some kind of connection to John Gotti. It was something like he was the supplier to Gotti's annual firework shows, or something to that effect.

It's all well and good to follow the case, but IF that is Fluke or another person on these boards, they're becoming too involved and it's becoming too personal to them. To me Gus Coletti is just a guy who answered the door that Shannan ran to. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but yelling at an elderly man who probably wished he'd done more and telling him that he'd "killed a girl" is totally inexcusable.

Also, on that Amityville case. No one on the block has heard any further and the 2 officers that live on the block will not discuss what happened in the house or if an investigation is being done. Sorry, I have been working like a fiend to finish some stuff up before the holidays.

As if you were reading my mind, I have been researching a person living on Captree Island, directly across from the Oak Beach tennis court. Captree island would be a great place to hide bodies. A boat would be a great place to kill them and possibly store them. Haven't heard anything about a search of the island. This person seems to be somehow connected to a medical facility or corporation.

He knew where to look for Shannan, according to a poster at LISK, he's friends with JB and SY, and he's really inserted himself into the investigation like Dr H. Still, whoever was going to kill Shannan was at JB's house that night (unless they are part of a group and brought her to Dr H/SY whoever) that's why I've always believed the killer to be The Drifter.

Apparently there are TWO DRIFTERS...One named PA and one named Lenny

And in an interesting twist of fate...Peterf14's POI will soon be leading the case as Chief Investigator

IMHO, there is zero evidence that Gus Coletti has lied about the events that transpired on the night Shannan Gilbert disappeared, that he is covering for anyone or that he is involved with committing any crimes.

Where are the quantifiable, verifiable facts that support your assertions?

I agree that it's the community's right to do something and be somehow involved, I just think that publicly berating somebody who has never even been a suspect or POI is a bit fanatical. I just get concerned that somebody might get so wrapped up in this case that they might go too far. I think there's a line between being really interested in this case (as most of us are) and feeling somehow involved to the point where you, as you say, insert yourself into the investigation.

So does the person who yelled at Colleti really know something or is the line between fact and reality a little blurry for him? Or both?

if she was murdered, I also think it would be a stretch to think that some random SK (besides Brewer or Pak) just happened upon her that night...but it's possible.

I think you have to look at what's possible & what's probable or which is more reasonable to assume.

And I think her being killed by the SK is just as big a coincidence. I don't think Brewer or Pak fit with SK MO. And her coincidentally running into the SK would be a crazy coincidence. A prostitute running from someone else happens to run into a SK that kills prostitutes.

Either way it's a big coincidence.

BC he lied...first he said he did, then he said he didn't let her in and that he felt bad bc he could have saved her, then he said he let her in again. He's a liar just like MP, JB, PH.

Maybe it's an indication that I would be a horrible investigator (because I feel protective over certain people) but I cannot stand it when people try to blame GC for what happened that night. He's an elderly man. The man did all he could. I think it's unfair to accuse him of not doing enough, whether he let poor Shannan into his house completely or just into his doorway, he had no idea what kind of danger was out there. I really don't think he recorded over the security tapes, as fluke claims, there's just no basis for that claim.

I do agree that the man yelling on the tape is flukeyou though... I don't have proof of this but I know a) flukeyou's real name b) someone with flukeyou's name is the director of lifeguards for LI state parks c) the man in the video was identified as "the lifeguard" and d) the things the man is yelling in the tape coincide exactly with flukeyou's posts on that chaotic website lisk.com
