Are you absolutely sure of this cawfee? :detective:
I could work on a list of possible reasons why we might not be sure. :findinglink:

I do not view the site which must not be named. Does anyone know "in just your opinion only" if IM has hired a PI? I'm not looking for a link, just wondering if this has been done. I would think with her work history she'd know how to do this + that it would be important if LE wasn't gaining ground. That is if there is no evidence of a crime etc. JMO

She hasn't mentioned anything. The only thing she posted recently was an article about what its like to have a missing family member.

It was the end of school season and Im not so sure the kids had full day schedules for I think there were finals.

Either he was lured away or he wasn't the one that drove there and left the sheet in the garage!

IM said in that last article the kids were taking finals, her attention was on them, and RM had "nervous energy."

Thank you, Phili. Yes, I am familiar, I just did not make the connection. They propbaly shut him down too. He was like a train wreck though - high drama. Were his cameras suppose to locate a body?

Was going to bring RM home to his family or give IM the satisfaction that the reserves were searched where she wanted them to be. :twocents:

I just have never thought he was dead. to borrow Phili's sig "If you listen closely enough, people will tell you exactly who they are..." I have listened to LE NOT talk and now SAR NOT talk and watched the shut down of (3) THREE!!! "sites who shall not be named" and I can't get away from the fact that they don't want info about this man circulated. they want his face in the news...to pin him where he's at? to make him feel guilty??? to garner a reaction out of him??? because whoever it is, they are used to getting the reactions they want and they are just not getting them so the pressure is on to make him have a reaction ...that's my take

It's just all so odd. :banghead:

Any one remember Steve trantell wall street broker husband and father from long island. Robbed 10 banks and his wife was clueless.

I just cannot fathom a man leaving home and not taking his wallet .

Oh, I agree, unless someone hid it on him or foul play happened. I don't think it is that easy to get fake identification, if you aren't traveling in certain circles. I wouldn't know where to go for that. Ask around in the inner city immigrant community somewhere??? He could be using a friend's identification. I suspect, all he would need is name, birthdate, and social security number. Close physical resemblance (height) would help too. All and all, it doesn't seem right that he left the wallet behind. Absolutely! I recall seeing a show on that case. It has also crossed my mind RM may have been involved in something illegal or he knew of something illegal going on. I even briefly thought he could have been involved in the Long Island/Jones Beach prostitute killings (yeah, I know, most likely very, very far-fetched . . .). I guess I'm looking for reasons why he left the wallet and his life behind . . .

Actually we don't know what they told LE or IM.....

Yup, as someone else stated recently, it could be the reason why LE doesn't think a crime was committed. Although, he probably would have got more for them at a pawn shop—I'm guessing.

Did anything happen in that area the night before or the night he went missing?

Yes I think 20/20 did a show on him. Maybe we should check and see what things happened in the area around that time.

I can not see him leaving his wallet. Everything else yes but that wallet has me stuck.

I was thinking of searching whether or not these areas have cameras. The ferry, the RR stations out there etc. I just have this nagging feeling about out east that I can't get out of my mind.

They may have cameras---am thinking of MTA police and their presence. You raised an excellent question. The ferries transport alot of different vehicles---travelled on the ferry with some fun folks from Newfoundland--utility guys who travelled down south to help with storm damage---makes you wonder.

maybe wallet that he left had old stuff in it??? Out dated credit cards etc-----we dont know if it was empty or what it had in it--drivers' license, union card, debit card, credit card, gas card, store frequent buyer cards, recepits for gas, Home Depot, CVS, Walgreens, medical insurance, library card, registration for THE CAR (jazz hands, glitter)-sorry could not resist that

Wonder what the train schedule was for that day leaving out of DP. Were there trains departing in that timeframe? I'm sure there was.
