Part of the statements made by the retired NY detective about Matt were simply ASININE.

The retired NY detective made the point that Matt might be considered nice looking by some women, but bc he is a sociopath, he is highly manipulative, can be charming, etc. No need to glorify him further. Not to mention, Matt appears to have been a rapist as well.

Wth, with prior escapes he's allowed the honor block and street clothes. Oh my word! Can't make this stuff up. Jmo

Exactly. Has it ever occurred to them that he could be behaving well because he is planning his next escape? Seem like they don't even consider prior history of the inmate.
Who comes up with these rules? They are running a prison, not a day care.

Meanwhile, two law enforcement sources told NBC affiliate WPTZ they believe that a getaway car either arrived too early, too late or not at all — leading police to believe the escaped convicts were on foot.

If they were spotted at 12:30 AM in the yard (one carrying guitar case), most of the work had to have been completed days or weeks earlier.

I don't believe they needed blueprints. Once they identified the main steampipe, they knew it would lead beyond the prison walls.

With all the planning and tools and now carrying a guitar case one would think they would have a cell phone to contact the getaway car if there was one. Strange to miss that step with so much detail involved. Jmo

So Cuomo sarcastically noted the inmates did not report hearing anything. Seriously, why would he even expect them to.

But how about the correction officers. Did the escapees time all their work to coincide with the construction work being done inside the prison? They must have been out of their cells, Plenty.

Was the hole in the wall behind both beds? They didn't share a cell, did they?

Yes, two openings in each cell which were single cells:

Matt, 48, and Sweat, 34, were in adjoining cells. Using hacksaws, they cut the 3/8-inch-thick steel walls around air vents near the heads of their cots to form man-size openings they could slip through. They kept the vents in place to avoid detection. The paint on the walls is so irregular and chipped that it was impossible to tell they had been tampered with, the sources said.

Hope any firearms she owned or had access to are accounted for. Would think so, or would be arrested by now.

O, Mitchell checked herself into the hospital the day they escaped, MSNBC just reported..."case of nerves." Ha!

Is Ms. Mitchell married?

Yea, she's civilian employee, and husband works at Clinton Correctional, but don't know his status (civilian or correctional).

MSNBC reporter in area:

Mitchell not arrested nor in custody.

Checked herself into a local hospital.

Believe they are still on foot, not in vehicle.

O, reporting husband is Industrial Trainer Facilitator at Clinton Correctional.

Is wife husband's supervisor or is he in a different department?

ETA: husband works in the same me
department. See link I just posted.

Just re-read your post - and realized you're asking about the supervisor of Mr. M? I believe that they're all in the same department - based on MSM reports, but I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're asking... (my bad)
