FOX - former prison superintendent of Attica says he thinks her panic attack came when she got to the manhole and they weren't there.

I've read many of us say the same recently. Interesting to see that thought process validated by someone in that position.

If they do by chance come to this county (Potter) this manhunt could become a whole lot more complicated than it already is. We are nothing but mountains here which really concerns me.

FWIW, if they went from Lindley to Friendship they're moving northwest in the direction of Tonawanda, not south into Pennsylvania.

Wylie says about the new sighting: A woman was in her barn area, her dog started barking, she looked and saw two very suspicious individuals, she called LE right away, and LE responded heavily to Friendship, NY.

And in this article they said a female saw 2 men came out of the woods, one went back into the woods and the other pulled his hoodie on. One had red hair.

Hm maybe it's not live, I see that now, because on the video from the prison it said 7:13pm instead of 8:13pm which it actually is. Not sure though, I never watch FOX usually.

That FOX News Prison Break special originally aired Friday night; I caught it during its original broadcast. They ran it again tonight and will air it again Sunday. Seems strange they would air the same thing over and over, especially with all the sightings here of late.

I think looking for fingerprints as well as touch DNA would be the analyzing. Also they would be able to trace bar codes back to the point of purchase with help from the manufacturer and distributor.

Eta/ I wonder if they will be releasing those results!

I don't believe bar codes have anything to do with point of purchase. They correspond to the UPC (universal product code) number printed beneath them. Stores then input that # into their computer system with the price and item description, so they scanner can ring up a price at checkout.

So a pack of TicTacs bought in CA will have the same bar code as the same one sold in NY or wherever.

If - and that's a big if - they are in fact in that area I expect they will be either dead or in custody within the next day or so. I pray that no LEOs or civilians are harmed in the process. What worries me the most is that they will somehow slip away ... or that the reports of their presence will be unfounded. I sometimes wonder if they are getting help from someone or from some group.

I am going to bump my own post... for anyone else bored and waiting for news.
I'm going to go watch another episode now.... but this one was pretty enlightening.

People keep saying they likely would have split up or been caught.
People keep saying they can't believe it's been two weeks and they haven't been found.
Since the escape DH has taken a bit more of an interest in prison escapes.

We watched one last night about the Texas Seven.
This group subdued many officers and stole a vehicle to escape.
They had only a few minutes head start in a vehicle before their captive guards alerted LE.
They had no inside help and their escape was known as it happened.
The manhunt began immediately and it was for SEVEN of them.

Despite that, they stayed on the run for 39 DAYS... even after killing a cop on DAY 11.
They all stayed together and it still took that long to find them.
They did the opposite of what everyone expected they would do as far as where they went.

Just thought I'd point it out because it was rather surprising to me. :twocents:

Earlier reports today said there were sightings in Erwin, then Lindley.
I thought they were traveling along the a river. If they were in Lindley and are now around Friendship, that means they doubled back some. Are they afraid of entering PA? Don't forget the month long search we had last fall in PA. They found that trooper killer in a barn. PA State Police will be ready if NY doesn't corner them at the lakes.
