Such a baffling case.
I think someone likes to fish. Big cats like to fish too!We will be doing a story on Brian next month. Does anyone that knew Brian or was at the bar that night want to help? We just need some information to help with the article.

Missing Brian Shaffer
Nine years ago tonight,...<snip>
Hi there just, and welcome to the thread! I'm no expert on this case, but as I understand it the bar had three exits, one at the front with the escalator and video footage, one through the kitchen to the rear which was a fire door with a motion activated camera, and another down a freight elevator (I think) that let out at an alleyway/construction area next to the UTS, which has no video coverage. Also some have speculated that he could have jumped off the second floor balcony to the street below. This was postulated in an episode of 'Psychic Kids', but I think that would have been remembered by someone. I'm not sure about video days later. If you Google 'missingpiecesshow episode 64 Brian Schaffer' you'll find a pretty interesting interview with Brian's father, he mentions some interesting reactions from the security and UTS people.
I am rather baffled that the "friend" has not been looked into MUCH more aggressively. The whole wanting "immunity" thing is a HUGE red flag; the only reason to possibly bring up immunity is because you know something. I do feel he knows much more and probably holds a key to solving what happened to Brian.
Still a very baffling case.
I think they probably would have already offered that type of immunity. Maybe that wouldn't give him the immunity he needed.Yeah, given how long it's been, I don't quite see why prosecutors wouldn't agree to a limited immunity grant along the lines of "As long as you're honest with us and answer our questions completely, we will not prosecute you for any illegal activity you admit to provided it does not include intentionally killing BS." See how he reacts to that. If he agrees to talk, my guess is that the immunity request is just re: drugs (probably sales given his apparent level of concern); if he doesn't agree to talk, well...
