Was the phone conversation before/after they found Elaina? Is AS in jail grieving her daughter or just walking around normally as she has been?

I still keep thinking about her starting a new job after this happened and her reaction to TS telling her to call 911.....makes my blood boil!

Tammy Mories told Dr. Drew that her phone conversation with AS took place on Friday night (September 6), after the vigil for Baby Elaina which Tammy had attended. Tammy says "she told me on the phone that she promised that she didn't do this to her baby." Elaina's remains were recovered Thursday, September 5.

I'm still loving the march to the jail, the message of justice breaking through the walls, and knowing that at least 2 of those responsible are surrounded by people who HATE anyone that hurts babies... Even if in solitary "protective" confinement, I feel confident that the inmates are serving up a living Hell!

Seriously. They didn't even call TJ with THIS?

Since TJ is not only a victim of this succession of crimes, but is, IMO, also the victim's representative of Elaina and of KS, I am amazed that he has not been given information that is important to the case. Surely TJ should have been entitled to be informed about developments as the investigation(s) progressed. If not, then it's time, IMO, that Victims' Rights were revisited and upgraded to be sure that LE and other authorities are given the obligation of informing the V/VR of this kind of information.

To inform the PARENT of a HOMICIDE VICTIM under the age of 2 that the human remains recovered by LE had been conclusively identified as those of HIS BABY, would seem to be normal, courteous, and respectful. Perhaps LE assumed that the authorities who had confirmed the identification would have had performed this highly sensitive service. I find it appalling that it was left to the 5th estate to bring this to TJ's attention.

How you can maintain any semblance of graciousness under these conditions, Ferretmommy, is amazing.

Not that I am aware of. It is MYopinion that when this all comes down to it, RS will also be arrested for obstructing justice also!

Not to my knowledge. But I believe before this is all done and over with RS will be spending time in jail for obstructing justice also...

Not yet, we were told that the coroner and a forencic anthropologist are checking all the findings to try to get a cause of death, which could take even a week.
 
To TJ, Kylee, Becky, her daughter and the extended Steinfurth family.

I cannot even begin to fathom what you must be feeling in this moment. Your precious baby girl has touched the heart of so many people in this world.

The love for Elaina and you all extends far beyond your community. I hope and pray that the wonderful memories of your beautiful daughter helps carry you through this horrible time. I hope that you can feel the arms of thousands of people wrap around you and provide some comfort for you.

TJ...In all of this torment, you have shown the world what a real man and a real daddy are. You have walked through this with grace and class and if nothing else you should be crazy proud of yourself, as all of us who have watched you endure this are.

The road ahead will be the most difficult thing you have to face in your life, I am sure. Be kind to yourselves and take the time you need to process this. The world can wait right now.

I have never met you and probably never will meet you, but know that you are all never very far from my thoughts and prayers.

I wrote this letter for TJ and family and it was put on the facebook page but I just wanted to share it with you FerretMommy in case you don't check that page....Know that all the way on the other side of the world you are being thought of.

How uncanny. Just the other day I put up a post talking about the profile of mothers who murder their children and this is one of the traits seen.

Just like CA put heart stickers.

There is no way SK drew that heart on the box imo. That is just not something males often do in the cases I have seen.

I have no doubts now that Elaina's mother put her in that box. I would not be surprised to learn either that she was probably swaddled in a blanket inside of the computer box.

Now I hope LE can prove this case and give Elaina the justice she so deserves.

gngr~snap. I heard it last night on a repeat of Dr.D or Nancy G.. I was surprised. I am sure they have a lot more they havent released. This just reminds me so of little Caylee. I really feel she was someplace else then moved again. :seeya:
 
I had mentioned the heart in JBR's palm way upthread...I should have said that JBR = JonBenet Ramsey. I regret that I did not add Caylee as a second example.

I agree with all who say that drawing or putting a heart on the body or its 'container' would be far likelier to have been done by the Mother.

OT: MsFacetious, thank you so much for the memory jog! I read-up again on the case of Valiree Jackson. Her father allegedly sexually abused her as well, and I think he probably caused the demise of Valiree's mother too. 56 yrs was simply not enough of a term for this murdering father. :-(

Adding to my post just above...

The drawn heart does not necessarily suggest who caused the child's death, but it is highly indicative of a Mother's involvement in secreting the little one's body.

In this case, given what we've 'heard', it could be that the Mother went along with her boyfriend's DX of her daughter's injuries (whoever caused them) and once realizing her daughter was dead, put the seal of the heart on the box containing her remains.

IOW, the drawn heart alone is not sufficient to say who caused the baby's death but is a strong indicator of who was a participant in hiding her remains.

Thanks for that link - I found it really interesting.

It's the first time I've perhaps had a different read on JK. I have to give her kudos for clearly stating that the stienfurth family had nothing to do with the threats. It's the first time I've had any semblance of respect, or believed she had a shred of integrity at all.

The frequent head movements and eyes constantly darting side to side when asked about details about the timeframe I find really interesting. Like a rocking / internal comfort style of motion.

We shake our heads "no," we shake our heads in disbelief. I wonder what this shaking represents.


The apparent backflip from "she told us she had nowhere to stay. She lied" to the mention of the RS text and clothes dumping is intriguing.

I wish the reporter had pressed her on why Angela was thrown out of the house a week before.

Even though the credibility of JK as a source isn't fantastic, and she has a vested interest in lying to protect her son, I find the RS information to be in line with his overall conduct to date.

He is doing everything he can to paint himself as the loving grandfather. Not a word he says can be believed.

That's really strange - maybe because I'm on my phone and its a mobile link?

In summary: SK was due to stand trial on Monday for obstruction charges.
Appeared before judge 8:30 am Thursday and the trial date was moved to October at the request of the defence.

There was no information about further charges being laid.
