Another thought...if he’s already court-involved he could be genuinely scared about returning to juvenile detention when found and doing his best to stay under the radar. I know those searching for him stated he’s not in trouble, but he’s 14 and doesn’t trust many people in his life. I’m so worried for this kid.
This is very true and hopefully something law enforcement is thinking of. It may also be a good idea to send to LE.
In one of the videos, Harley said his assistant principal was one of the few people he trusted. I think it would mean a lot if that principal was on camera talking to Harley - telling him he won't go to juvenile, just in case Harley can see or hear the video and is scared to come back home.
Seems like his home life was a bit chaotic (if only in his mind, not blaming his parents). If so, Harley is like a lot of teens and will listen much more to an adult he respects and trusts instead of his parents at this point.
