MSNBC says LE is holding a news conference within the hour.

Thanks! Keep us posted. It should have started right now, but I'm thinking maybe the questioning of the three suspects delayed things. I'm not seeing a live link yet.

20 yo Columbus, OH, resident has been arrested. News conference still to come.

Thank you Steadfast! Please post links? My Husband is very interested in this case. I want to share with him the details. Did that poor child witness his mother's death?

Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old man from Columbus in connection with the slaying of a Harrison Twp. woman whose 4-year-old son was abandoned by the attacker at a rest area.

More on the Mom, Jennifer, and the little boy.

Daddy sounds like a good man. (Crossing fingers he isn't responsible)

Nelson has taken Will to stay with relatives.“My focus is [on] doing everything I can to bring a little bit of home,” he told Vieira. “I’m not going to make him go back to the house ever again. Right now I’m just trying not to really even bring it up. We’re going to go to see counselors. We’re going to take advice from them and just try to keep moving forward.”

And they changed the locks after the keys and wallet were stolen.

So the baby boy said a man came into the house. The Msnbc article says "The person who shot Jenny Nelson broke into the house". Of course, the baby boy wouldn't know how the man came in, just that he was he came in and shot and killed his Mommy. Wonder if that sentence is accurate reporting?

I hope this Daddy gets help from a counseler for this child. He's going to need it.

Here is Jenny's MySpace profile . . . http://snipurl.com/9hlq1
It is set to private, but her status "Jenny Um, my arch-enemy quit. So lately I get every Tom, Dick, and Skeletor out to make a name for himself knocking on my door." is kind of strange. How weirdly ironic that she thought Alec Baldwin(!) embodied the ugliness of human nature... how sadly naive. She last logged on Dec 31, 2008. She has a Facebook profile as well, it's a private, but here is a list of her (6) friends: http://www.facebook.com/friends/?id=1028237332 Some of the friends (and her sister's) profiles are public. Apparently they enjoyed playing an online game -- Kidnap.

And here is Eddie Nelson's MySpace page . . . http://snipurl.com/9hmpm

Including this blog entry about the theft of the car. The newspaper (apparently mistakenly) said they went to a Duran Duran concert:

"So last night me and my wife went to see the eagles of death-metal. The show was amazing they are a great band. So at around midnight we go back to where the car was and it not there.Maybe we parked on a different level, after walking the garage three times we decide to call the police. My wallet and all credit cards are in the car the only thing I have is 70 bucks my ID half pack of cigarette's, and phone. My wife who has lots of people in Columbus that we could have stayed with left her phone in the stolen car.No phone numbers. So after calling the police and standing in the cold for two hours with no coats the cop gives a ride to a red roof in. thank god for the wonderful attendant that worked out a discount to take the room from 75 dollars before tax to 65 after tax. so I still have 5 bucks so after spending the night in Columbus someone has to drive from Dayton to Columbus to pick us up.(thanks Jenny's mom)So now I am in Dayton minus a car coat wallet waiting for the Columbus police to call to say they have the car.Grrrrrr this is just a huge headache I would love to do some pretty brutal **** to the people responsible. Thanks a lot for ****ing up the memory of a great show you ****ING !!!!!"

Interesting that she thought Alec Baldwin "embodied the ugliness of human nature," yet he was a fan of death metal, Marilyn Manson and the film Sweeney Todd.

His last log in was January 4 (why do all these people get on their MySpace pages when their world is collapsing) in which he notes his frame of mind as "distraught."

The suspect fits the description of the man the boy described. Charlie W. Meyers (sp?), 22, has some priors -- property crimes. No connection to Montgomery County.
There was a struggle.

When you see Alec Baldwin, you will see the true ugliness of human nature.

This appears it may be a quote for the movie: Team America: World Police (2004)

The Venture Brothers:
The Venture Bros. (alternatively The Venture Brothers) is an American animated television series airing as part of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Venture_Bros.

"Team America: World Police is a 2004 comedy film, written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Pam Brady and directed by Trey Parker, who are also known for the popular animated series South Park. The film is a parody of big-budget action films and their associated clichés and stereotypes, the 2003 invasion of Iraq and the resulting war, with particular humorous emphasis on the global implications of American politics." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_America_World_Police

It appears she is just referencing her current choice of humor?

Great Myspace find above. This perp should be found soon, they just found the car.
This is the reason why parents with small children really need to inform them and make sure they know pertinent information. This 4 yr old is profoundly astute. Most toddlers are and give important information verbatim.

"Charlie W. Myers, 22, of Columbus was arrested and taken into custody, Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer said."

I found a myspace page that matches this name and the town of Columbus but I don't know if I am allowed to post or not?

Kat, MySpace is a public forum, so the information there is not protected. I searched every possible configuration of Charlie Myers using a state filter (Ohio) and could not come up with a page, so I'm anxious to see what you found.

That poor little guy.. I'm so happy that he has a loving family and the person who might have done this was caught.

Here's the mug shot for Charlie Myers. He has apparently confessed to "involvement" in the murder according to an AP story of 45 minutes ago.

The mug shot and the pictures on those pages look like the same young man to me. I could be wrong though Larkin.
