I will try to find the weather link I had posted it earlier I think for several hours, not 100% sure....let me see if I can find it. Believe me I'm not sure it was raining just what a neighbor has says. It was at my house but we all know 2 miles away it could have been dry.

Thanks. Remember, I was offering just a series of events that MIGHT have happened. Nothing more than my opinion. No facts involved.

I believe I saw someone on Facebook saying she didn't smoke cigarettes.

Did they say she didn't smoke anything? If you're referring to my scenario of events that night.....my guess if you will, I said she went outside to smoke.

Well maybe I am odd, but I would scream as loud as possible if someone had a knife or gun on me-at least someone might be roused and catch the murderer even if they couldn't save me...or scare him off, something...

You make a very good point. I think there are a lot of other things JC is not up to and certain things that he would just not be capable of doing at all since his injury, given the time he has had to heal.

This is something I would like everyone to think long and hard about before give their opinion.

Does anyone think JC is capable of carrying KM's dead body out of a house, putting her in a car and/or disposing of her somewhere with the kind of injury he has to his ankle/leg???

There is always the possibility that he went back to her house and she left voluntary or involuntary with him I guess too.

:waitasec: Does it not beg the question that if what the aunt says about him re-injuring it, just when and how did that happen? Did it happen Aug 14? Just asking!

I just read on the KM Consider Everything page that Nancy Grace will be talking to JC again tonight at 8 ET.

I am still a bit confused how to fit in the cell being off immediately after sending the text. Literally, she would had to have bombed outside, been abducted immediately, and the perp turned off the cell maybe even before subduing her. I know it is possible, but something about the timing and that last text just feels hinky to me.

I still wonder if David's Bridal tried to get in touch with her when she was a no show- since it was a smaller business and chances of the co workers being a little more friendly with each other. And after working the day before. I can't imagine them having tons of workers on a Sunday afternoon and it isn't necessarily peak wedding season. Especially if it was odd for her to not show or call, surely she was missed?

Oh yes- I am not too concerned about why or why not JC is OUT searching or not. If he isn't responsible, I can't imagine anything worse than stumbling across your loved one in a tragic form.
I 'll give him that...I think I could be very proactive in a multitude of other ways, but searching?? I don't know:(

Does anyone have the link to the myspace page? I must have missed it.

Diane Elaine: I don't know, some have said her condo was two storry, it looks two story from the photos I've seen. Which is also has me thinking, some people assume her bedroom was upstairs, but I had always assumed down stairs. It would really depend on the lay out. We know it had two bedrooms if her dad lived there for 5 years with her, but wasn't the divorce recent? Were they seperated a long time?

Snipped a bunch of good stuff to answer just these parts.

I am behind, so if the myspace is not linked when I get caught up, I will post it for you.

BEDROOM - another poster asked about the window on ground level too (had a pic) might have been Diane Elaine, but anyway -- I thought it was most likely the upper back bedroom window that had the "student driver" bumper sticker and artsy looking curtains in it. FWIW

I believe she said he hurt his ankle or foot in the first search. Could be he doesn't want to be the one to find her and this is his excuse. Would any of us want to find our loved one dead? Some people can handle it some can not.

I don't really think the phone was "turned off" per say. Both the phone and the GPS were "inoperable" at the same time. I would think that if a cell phone is damaged in some way during a struggle then those two things would be rendered inoperable immediately.

There are some co-workers who were friends of KM's on her FB. It's possible that someone from the shop tried to contact her on her cell phone but as we know, they would have just been forwarded to voicemail.

I just read on the KM Consider Everything page that Nancy Grace will be talking to JC again tonight at 8 ET.

Oh no! Guess I have to watch that rude women one more time :maddening:

But after reading everyones thoughts, I have a new one.

She could have run the garbage out. Or, if it was going to rain she may have
run out to check her windows.
Or a neighbor could have knocked on the door saying here windows were
open and it was going to rain.
Or she wanted to get something out of her car.

I'm really starting to think seriously about a neighbor
I like to watch true crime shows and I can't tell you how many times the
perp was a neighbor

And the people saying an older man, is a good one. Who would be afraid of a
guy your dads age or even older? :twocents:

http://www.journal-news.com/news/ha...area-to-look-for-katelyn-markham-1243406.html

The comment about the cell phone tells me it was turned off right there at her apartment, find that would be a little difficult if it was a stranger without her raising hell.

Okay, let me toss something else out. What if the abductor used Chloroform to knock her out? Whomever did it might have even just picked up the phone or touched it and feared prints so took it and turned it off and still has it or it is sitting in the bottom of a lake somewhere.

I am just tossing out lots of ideas - but my women's intuition has not liked JC from the start. Could be the enmeshed looking relationship that I see based on how he speaks and the online trail. I know the pics all look like they are so in love, but if that love was not a healthy love the violence that would erupt from a parting of ways to me would be VERY DANGEROUS.

Above JMHO.

I know, I no longer believe anyone of them will be found. :( It is very depressing. When someone is finally found, years later, it is almost always by accident.

I feel the same way. If it's not solved within the first 3 days or so, it's very likely to never ever be solved.

Often, you "know" who did it, often you don't have any idea at all. Someone is lurking in the shadows grabbing people off the street and murdering them and hiding their bodies - or sometimes people are found living their lives 40 years later when they were presumed dead.

I can't imagine how families recover from this, the not knowing.

I can no longer watch NG, due to my loathing of her, so if someone can report anything useful? Would be appreciated...

Do we know what date the first search was? 15th? As in hours from when she went missing?

Again - smells hinky to me. If JC didn't do this, I do hope to hear from him when he is less scatterbrained appearing because his verbal and non verbals are not working for him, IMHO!

It might just be the area I live in (lots of rednecks), guys around my dad's age give me even bigger willies than creepy guys closer to my own age, especially if they come up to me in a random place and just start chatting.

I guess it all just depends on how paranoid you are......

I'm watching Nancy Grace....they're talking about a missing teacher.
