I just had another thought. Has anyone considered it could be someone who had an obsession with her and may be holding her somewhere that she cant escape and she may still be alive? Maybe they dont know how to let her go since this case went national.

Anything is possible look at the other cases we've seen. I think the chances are very slim though. There's a thin line between taking someone, keeping them alive, and self-preservation. If this person thought they would get caught and go to prison, I believe her chance of survival diminishes.

Of course, I can be totally wrong!

Someone could have seen her at that event and been drawn to her. The picture was very good and had real sex appeal, especially to a predator!
Notice 2 women and the pose. It might not have been intended to come across that way but think what a deviant person would see when they look at it.

Just on a stream of consciousness thought here to perpetuate the thought that someone felt a connection through her art... Does anyone know if she sold her art at art fairs/sales? I know she was studying graphic design, but obviously she works with other media and sometimes students participate in local events to boost their income. I've been to many art sales over the summer and noticed that not only did I see the same vendors over and over, but also recognized a lot of the same shoppers time and time again.

I do know Hyde Park Square's big art sale was this past weekend and I didn't see her name listed as a vendor, but wanted to ask...

I guess I'm wondering if she participated in any of these events, if someone gave her the crawlies, or someone she saw time and time again showed up... she may have mentioned it to the artist whose booth was next to hers.

I know she was studying graphic design, but obviously she works with other media and sometimes students participate in local events to boost their income. She participated in an art show the week before she went missing. Her face and the face of another girl were on the flyer. Very good picture too!

I think she probably participated in other shows too. That's the best way to get your name and your art out there. Also, a good way to find a good job after graduation and she was close to graduating.

This was posted in the Caitlin Anderson thread - wasn`t there a neighbor of Katelyn`s reporting a pick up out back also - i`m going to try and find that - does anyone else recall

If anyone find concrete and reliable info about what neighbors heard or saw please share.

I thought it was a truck but you are probably correct. I think it was a neighbor who stated that JC's car was not there that night and a truck pulled in but left quickly. Might have been a boxy car. Probably my mistake.

The boxy car could have been JC's friend's car since JC said a friend was with him at KM's that night.

I don't know where it is posted (on which previous thread) but initially we all thought JC was with Katelyn alone on Sat night but later he stated that a friend was with him that night.

Unfortunately, I think this had been mentioned on the FB page and never hit MSM so we can't assume its true.

Reading your long list of great questions (btw) - i have no answers only another question, as you have me wondering...and I'm sure it's been asked before now but fwiw:

IF Katelyn was too tired to go to JC's parents that evening to discuss her moving in with them the following week (prior to the couple relocating to CO)....then why is she not too tired to entertain company?????

I realize it could have happened just that with the (temporary) move in with JC's family a week away, you'd think the priority even if you're tired would be to work out those important details.

Katelyn's friends say she was a planner.

They were supposed to talk with John's father about the move to CO, not the move to John's mother's house. John's father lives in a different city, about 14 miles away. John's mother lives in Fairfield, about 1/2 mile from Katelyn's condo.

They were going to live with John's mother until the move to CO. Those plans seem to have been already in place.

John's mother and father do not live together.

I have it on my computer at home. Below the ear ring I see a man . Below the reflection there is a really creepy guy and a woman. . Some think its just light and shadows so I dont know. Surely if there were real people and KM bound as some think that would be evidence and someone would be arrested by now.
