It was actually stated in the first interview with LM that DR had two dogs 1 pit bull and 1 "wolf dog" that would eat you

That accounts for 9. Still 5 running loose?

BBM. I'm confused. Health insurance for dogs is required in Ohio? It isn't in the state I live in.

Um no, it's definitely not. 😂
And I wouldn't think people with a fair number of illegal businesses would be too concerned with obtaining it even if it were required.

Not mine either but most people I know with pets have health insurance on them. A lot of companies here offer their employees the option of paying for health insurance on pets out of their paychecks each week just like they would health insurance on any family members. Otherwise if their pets get sick or hurt the vet bills can be enormous and cause a financial burden on the pet parents. (My chihuahua that passed in 2013 had 6000.00 in vet bills from surgery and specialists called in prior to the surgery.) Sorry I assumed that everyone is like me I guess and has health insurance on their pets. My bad.

Oh, okay, thanks. I've looked at some and passed it by. We had to delay some renovations for a year after our eldest dog got herself so maimed she nearly lost her leg a little over a year ago. They can certainly be expensive!

Where is there any evidence that she knew B was there? If you are referring to the following quote from the Cincinnati Enquirer,

"She pounded on the door, calling for Frankie or for B to open the door for 'Aunt Jo.'"

Those are not BJM's words, this was just how the reporter wrote the story. I feel it is not completely accurate, but people are running with it.

BJM is Aunt Jo to Frankie and Great Aunt Jo to B. I doubt anyone would differentiate that in the family and still call her Aunt Jo for all nieces and nephews.

Other things I've wondered:

What was the deal with $ at KR trailer? Was there really any lying on the body, and if so, how much? This is so strange to me because KR was in bed and only shot once in the head, which definitely would seem to exclude him having interaction with that money if it indeed was there.

What was the deal with $ in general? Their grow ops had to be generating a decent amount of cash, or the equivalent in some sort of trade. Even in a legal state that can be tricky, bc banks tend to defer to the federal government and don't want to be part of it for several reasons. In an illegal state, you would want to do as much in cash as possible bc it helps you get rid of the cash you're generating and it leaves less of a paper trail to track your grow supplies. So if they had cash, where did they keep it?

It was reported that there was a lot of blood in the living room at CR1/GR trailer, their bodies were both found in the back room, and BJM said that it looked like someone had dragged them down the hallway. She also said it looked like someone had beaten the hell out of them/CR1 (I'm not sure how to interpret her 911 call). It has now been established that CR1 was shot 9 times in multiple places and GR 3 times to the head. BJM said nothing in her 911 call about either of them being shot. Why? Do we think they were really dragged back there, or was she confused? Why would they have been dragged back there if they were? Fingerprint safe?

BJM also stated that FR had a black eye. What's the story with that? Did someone give him a shiner, or is this a case of BJM describing the head trauma from the gun wound that way? Either way, I kinda think this must be pretty small caliber ammo...

I guess I wonder about a lot of things, LOL.

I have never ever been offered health insurance for my pets. I didn't even know that was a thing lol.

There are many companies that offer their employees the option of pet insurance because of the high cost of vet bills. I guess it would just depend on the company you worked for. Have you asked your company if they do offer it? It really makes a lot of sense to carry it on your pets if you think about it.

Exactly. Until there is a direct quote from BJM stating she called for B, I'll assume that she only knew he could be there, not that he was.

Sounds like something people might do in a place like California more than the heartland of America, just saying.

Yes, I agree 100%. I did recall him saying CR's had lights that lit up and I assumed they were motion sensitive. I lived in a secluded area where we had those as well, they surrounded our home. Nothing scarier than them going off when your alone and no one immediately knocks at the door.

I have motion detection lights at my front door. They come on often when there seems to be no reason for it. They are supposed to be on low at dusk and come on high from motion. Sometimes they are off when I pull in but come on at high level. They are very unpredictable.. .

You can see in the photos of Frankie's trailer that he has a sizeable porch light. It looks more like a street light than something you would get at Lowe's for your home.

I work for several hospitals, I've never heard it mentioned or read about it, will have to look into that.

Agreed. Our motion sensor light has come on from a leaf blowing by, and subsequently doesn't turn on for me when I walk outside and am jumping around waving trying to get it to trigger. Most of the time it's useful, but it has its temperamental moments.

Sadly, many pets never see a Vet, even in homes where money is not a problem.

I'd guess dogs that spend their lives at the end of a chain are in the majority of those lacking regular care by a Vet. One of my pet peeves (no pun), dogs chained to a box. Can't give the animal any better existence than that, don't get one.

Only one person mentioned cash at KR's house and that was DS. DeWine tried to put that away as rumor. I have heard that even in states where pot is legal, since it is still a federal crime, banks won't take money from the pot industry. They don't want to get charged with a federal crime. It is possible the money made by the Rhodens was banked at least in part.

I would imagine CR Sr. was very bloodied from being shot multiple times. That may be why BJM thought he looked like he was beaten. I think they were shot at different times. The first was moved so it wasn't immediately noticed when the other came in.

The black eye could be from being shot in the head. I wondered at one time if it was from a confrontation earlier that day that escalated to murder.

Been thinking about this all morning....

What if that cash at KR's was counterfeit? I can see at least a couple of ways this could be involved, none include the Rs running a printing press. Can also see how getting involved with counterfeit bills, on purpose or by accident, could get you in trouble with the wrong type of people. I still believe DR knew of a threat to most of the family, per her FB prayer. ".... now more than ever."

Google ... counterfeit ohio ... counterfeit ky .. etc., and it's easy to see it's a widespread problem, probably indicative of multiple unrelated sources of funny money.

April 28 - Rash of counterfeit money hits Portsmouth
http://www.wsaz.com/content/news/Rash-of-counterfeit-money-hits-Portsmouth-377425691.html

Now if you think this is a crazy idea, here's something that's way out there... Counterfeit $1 bills have turned up in the area. Why? It baffles me why anyone would bother. May be no reason other than to say, "we can do this if we want, we don't care, you can't stop us, we are taunting you", we being the counterfeiters. It's certainly a long haul to get profits at a rate of 99¢ per transaction, one store at a time.

In 2015, $2000 in phony cash was found on a west Ky roadside by highway workers. There have been arrests around Ohio, none apparently connected according to LE.

In our area, you are more likely to come across a counterfeit $1, $5, and $10 bills, because what is the first thing that happens when we hand the cashier a $20, $50, or $100? They mark it to check to see if it's counterfeit.

ive brought up that link a couple of times. You could easily pass $1 bills at yard sales. Resell your yard sale finds.
